Lazio (UK: /ˈlætsioʊ/, US: /ˈlɑːtsioʊ/; Italian: [ˈlatsjo]; Latin: Latium) is one of the 20 administrative regions of Italy. Situated in the central peninsular section of the country, it has almost 5.9 million inhabitants – making it the second most populated region of Italy (after Lombardy and just a little ahead of Campania) – and its GDP of more than 170 billion euros per annum means that it has the nation's second largest regional economy. The capital of Lazio is Rome, which is also Italy's capital and the country's largest city.

It Happened that I was the only student for this session but that enhanced the class. I was invited into the apartment (yes their private home) for the class and learned how to make Pasta. We made the dough from scratch and rolled it out by hand so anyone could make it at home with no equipment. We also made it with a hand pasta roller so if you were to start making it often you would know how to use that as well. We mainly made fettuccine but also some ravioli and tortellini. then all the pasta was cooked up and served on the patio for lunch. What a great experience and fun way to learn.

I had never booked a personal shopper before and I'm so glad I did. Anastasiya was wonderful and took me to local, boutique shops that were just what I was looking for. She contacted me in advance to find out my style and what I was interested in finding. I happened to be in Rome in July when there are tons of sales. What a great 3-4 hour adventure with a local. Book an experience with her you will love it!!

Trastevere is one of the most beloved areas of the city! This 3-hours street food and walking tour starts from Tiberine Island. This neighborhood which is a labyrinth made of tiny streets, small shops, and any kind of eateries - whose name means "across the Tiber" - hides a lot of historical spots too: among them, Piazza Trilussa, dedicated to a famous Roman poet, the Basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere, probably the first Christian church in Rome, and a lot more. Local food is without doubt the leitmotiv of the tour itself, as Trastevere is full of both typical Roman takeaways and restaurants.

What a great dinner had by all..first time but not last time....really tasty food all around. Had a large table outside in the open air that they set up last minute for our party of 13. Surprised they were able to accommodate because they were close to full but all good. They have a full bar so we all drank a bit first then indulged the tasty delectables. From the salmon to the Wagyu burger and the pizza etc. the food was delicious....not one complaint. We figured the service would be slow but all in all they did a great job. Deserts were also yummy with the Brownie being the crowd favorite....highly recommend

This was an amazing experience. At first I was skeptical, especially being alone, however once I arrived inside the apartment, my mind was immediately put at ease. I was supposed to be cooking in a group of 8, with another couple and a family. However, with a last minute cancellation, there were only 3 of us, with our chef and host. We began with some Prosecco, and tiramisu in order to allow it to set. Then we moved on to ravioli and gnocchi. The views of the Vatican were amazing during the entire class, where we worked in the kitchen overseeing the dome. With such a small group, we were able to spread out, but regardless, both our host and chef were welcoming, answered lots of questions, and continued to wine and dine us. We sampled olive oils and salts in between cooking courses. When the final touches were being put on our plates, we were escorted into the dining room, over looking the sunset on the other side of the apartment to relax and enjoy more sparkling wine. The food was exquisite, and so filling! What a perfect end to my Italian journey. Thank you Local Aromas!

Everything was perfect from the beginning to the end. The drive there was smooth with Mario, he was a patient man and a nice fellow :). The Bracciano castle was impressive and the local guide very knowledgeable. The castle is located by a Bracciano lake and the view from the castle is beautiful. The drive was about an hour there from Rome and the castle tour about another hour. Then a drive from the castle to the winery (about 45 minutes). And what a tour that was!! Our host Christian was so attentive and we got to much new information on wines and tasting with the greatest lunches on this trip. Wine was abundant, so was the food. Delicious ???? Couldn’t be any better! Thank you Vinebliss, we loved the tour and would definitely recommend this tour (and others) to all wine lovers.
