Whether you are looking for sun-drenched beaches or outdoor activities in beautiful countryside, New Jersey has plenty to offer. Those who love the great outdoors should head for the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, which runs along the Delaware River for forty miles. Here you can go rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking or fishing, or simply admire the stunning waterfalls. There is a huge range of hiking trails to choose from as well as historic sites to visit. In winter, you can enjoy cross-country skiing near Blue Mountain Lakes, and birdwatchers might be lucky enough to catch sight of bald eagles. If you are looking for a change, visit one of New Jersey's eleven lighthouses that are open to public, such as the one in Cape May. For art and history enthusiasts, New Jersey State Museum in Trenton has historic artifacts and American fine art from the nineteenth century to the present day as well as a Planetarium.

Since 1996 when we made our first commercial batch of wine, our family has grown our passion into our livelihood. Today, we are one of the east coast’s largest wine producers, and many would say its most popular. Our wines have won double gold medals from the Indy International Wine Competition, Fingerlakes International Wine Competition along with the NJ Governor’s Cup and dozens of prestigious awards. Based in Shamong, New Jersey, in the center of the Pine Barrens, Valenzano Winery maintains 88 acres of farms where we proudly grow our vineyards. We also look locally and nationally, sourcing the freshest and finest fruits imaginable to craft world-class wines that taste best when paired with the right foods and friends. From a hobby to a reputed winery, visit us and hear our story. Join us for a tasting and to learn more about our wines, our winery, and our approach to winemaking.
Fantastic! As every experience is when we visit Valenzano! This Pour & Pair was beautifully set and exquisitely hosted by Danny. His tour was informative, warm and a lovely way to start the evening. His passion for wine making is evident in his tour and brings such light to each bottle of wine we enjoy with family and friends. Every course was delicious and every wine served was perfectly paired with an explanation the for the pairing. I always look forward to the events hosted by Danny at Valenzano. They are second to none.

We were staying in a town, nearby, for a long weekend & were looking for fun things to do & decided to check out Little Water Distillery! Our visit truly exceeded our expectations! Mark & his staff are amazing! First off, do the tour, hear the passionate amazing story behind this family venture, & you won’t be disappointed! All of the cocktails are very tasty; the “mules” are made with their own ginger beer & spirit of choice! The spirits are all very good! I love the story behind the names! We will return the next time we are in NJ! I encourage you to also support this small business!

Humankind’s origins lie within the Village. The Village allowed for the creation of civilization, the specialization of roles and trades, and a gathering place to share ideas. Beer is a beverage of gathering with origins as old as the Village itself. Beer was crafted from the simple raw elements that sustained us: water, grain, and the fire's heat.
Superb family run establishment, and kind to this very lost British tourist. Fantastic food and a wonderful atmosphere.

My wife and I dropped in here recently and had a great time. We got there around 5:30 on a Saturday and the place was very lively but we had no problem getting a seat at a table. You order at the counter and they offer pints and sampler sizes. You can order four samplers to create a flight. Pints were from $5 to $7 with a wide variety to chose from (see picture). Most samplers were $3 so a typical flight would come in at $12. This is a fair price. We each got pints, my wife the Spot Check and I the Green Room IPA. Both were excellent. I also noticed lots of people brought food with them, particularly pizza or some other kind of takeout. This is encouraged and a great idea. I think the next time we go here - and there will definitely be a next time - we will have to get a pizza from the place across the street (I’ve heard good things about it) and a couple of flights. Overall this is a fun place to go: Great atmosphere and great craft beer yet a solid value.

This brewery is relatively new and is becoming quite popular in Clifton area. Ghost Hawk is more than a Brewery, it's also a bar. If you are one of those person that likes to enjoy a good beer at a bar with no TV, this is your place. Tasting pallet includes 4 options for $11.00, 4 oz glass. Ghost Hawk is a very welcoming place. Pets and kids friendly. A very good perk of this place ... It is located across Rutt's Hutt. You can get your food and bring it into the brewery. Food and beer under budget. Better impossible.

Here at the Cape May Winery, we pride ourselves on maintaining a family-owned and operated business that provides our customers with quality wines, exceptional service, and a relaxing atmosphere that makes everyone feel a part of our family after the first sip! The Cape May Winery’s journey began in 1989 with the planting of the first vines in Cape May County which started our Townbank Vineyard. Today, we grow 11 different varietals across 4 vineyards totaling 26 acres. As you can imagine, a lot has happened over the years! We invite you to be a part of our story during your next visit to Cape May and take a journey all your own through one of our tastings or tours. Wander through the many different rooms that make up the winery, explore our beautiful grounds, and and enjoy tapas from our kitchen all while discovering your own passion for wine. Cheers!
We had their wine tasting, since we liked what we tasted, we had a full glass and sat on the enclosed porch, enjoyed the winery and relaxed. Service was great, wine great and surroundings relaxing.

Stunning Fifty Acre winery and farm. Open every day at noon for outdoor dining. Fire Pit Friday with live music 6-9pm. Full farm-to-table grill menu, reservations strongly suggested. Gorgeous gardens. The only winery and tasting room on Cape May Island. Just a short bike ride, walk or drive from all Cape May beaches and attractions.
Just discovered Willow Creek on our most recent trip to Cape May and absolutely loved it! The grounds and winery are beautiful, and the outdoor bar (and bartenders!) couldn’t be nicer! Beth took care of us on both our visits and made my kids’ day with her special (i.e., non-alcoholic) frozen daiquiris. We enjoyed yummy food, good sangria and, best of all, CORN HOLE! They’ve got multiple boards with tables set up next to the outdoor bar. It was the perfect way to spend the afternoon with our kids. Bob and Season also couldn’t be nicer (and thanks, Bob, for helping us out with our scavenger hunt!). We’ll definitely be back for the wonderful food, scenery, and hospitality!
