Quealy Winery Cellar Door takes you right into the heart of the winery, tasting amidst the barrels and Tuscan terracotta amphora. Kathleen and Kevin first arrived on the Mornington Peninsula in 1988 and have spent the subsequent years cultivating a reputation for single vineyard expressions of regional heroes Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir, sourced from some of the oldest and finest sites on the Peninsula. Quealy's experience of Italian wine-making tradition has inspired Secco Splendido, Pobblebonk, Pinot Grigio and little-grown Friulano variety. Open daily, come and taste with our experienced team including resident cellar paw, Ninja.
From the moment we arrived we had a very warm welcome. The tasting room with the terracotta vats had a fabulous atmosphere and I loved the smell of the fermentation. The wine tasting was a wonderful experience. We learnt a lot about winemaking and about these particular wines and the grapes and the climate they are grown in. Our group bought an amount of the various wines. As we open them we remember the special afternoon spent at your magnificent winery and the fun we had with your exceptional staff. I can’t wait to return with more friends! Thank you for making my trip to Victoria so worthwhile. And thank you for kindly posting my shawl to me.

Myrtaceae is a small family run winery. Their wines are all quite lovely, and they were accompanied by a charcuterie board that was very tasty and a perfect complement to the wine. One of the owners served us - she was a warm and welcoming host and very kindly explained the background and history of the winery and the area. The surrounding vines and garden present a peaceful setting that made our experience very easy to enjoy. I would very much recommend Myrtaceae.

If you want to feel like 'à la maison' (at home ) and enjoy a relaxing atmosphere, head to this boutique winery, in Red Hill. Mont Rouge means 'Red Hill' in French and was previously called Darling Park. The 4 acre vineyard consists of Pinot noir, Pino Gris and Chardonnay and has 30 years of history. I tasted the 2018 Pinot noir with strawberry flavours, not too light, not too strong and perfect to go along with my lunch.Gourmet Barbecue lunch on weekends and public holidays with generous options of meat for $25 .Tasting for a reasonable $5. Nice and cosy atmosphere with 2 welcoming hosts, Brendon and Jenny. This is what you call a hidden gem.

Avani is a boutique winery and vineyard producing premium cool-climate wines on the Mornington Peninsula. Adopting a minimal intervention approach, we create wines of character which best express their site and growing season. Avani Syrah is our estate wine, made exclusively from grapes grown on our vineyard in Red Hill South. Our Amrit range showcases Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris from other cool-climate vineyards in Main Ridge and Shoreham. We also experiment with new winemaking approaches in our limited release vintages (skin-contact Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, and Sauvignon Blanc). Our cellar door is open the first weekend of every month (10am to 5pm) for wine tasting.
Just got back from an absolutely magical afternoon at Avani Wines, celebrating my wife's birthday. They were running a pop-up restaurant event with chef Harry Mangat of Biji Dining. Having been spoilt by the quality of Indian food in our native UK, this is the one cuisine that our new home-city of Melbourne hasn't - in our experience to date - nailed. How wonderful to be proven wrong this lunchtime! We particularly enjoyed the courgette 'bhartha' starter, the king prawns in South Indian spices, the main course of lamb and the innovative strawberry and cream pudding with it's hint of cardamon. As we had arrived early for our meal, we had time for some wine tasting and loved the aromatic flavours of the Amrit pinot gris, chardonnay and the pinot noir. The setting for the pop-up restaurant was picture-postcard, with gorgeous view towards the vineyards and the hills. A magical lunch out and an experience not to be missed.

Our Cellar Door is open the first weekend of every month and by appointment. Please check google listing for open days/ hours. Rahona Valley is boutique vineyard located in hidden valley in Red Hill South. Travel along a road less travelled to the the 25 year old vineyard in a protected valley in Red Hill South, where vines are grown on fertile, rich red basalt soil producing some of the best wines on the Mornington Peninsula. Come say hello to Toby and Dianne at this small, boutique vineyard with a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. We don’t aim to make everything. We don’t aim to be everywhere. We don't aim to be open everyday. But from the wine to the experience and everything in between, we do aim to be seriously good.
It’s the holy grail of wine tastings, off the beaten track, unassuming, amazing location and facilities. The wines, the wines, best bubbles on the Peninsula, serious table wines. Did I say gorgeous setting? Amazing experience, go there! Period.

Two young vignerons making their mark on the Mornington Peninsula. Producing patient wines from single sites. Wine tasting, BYO pinics, beers by Hop Nation.
I almost want to keep this place to myself, but these guys deserve to be wildly successful. This is one of the great delights of the Mornington Peninsula. A true boutique winery in a stunning setting with amazing wines. The cellar door is very rustic, made by repurposing some old concrete water tanks. You will not be rushed through the tasting, it’s a place where they actually want you to relax and take in the wines and the atmosphere. There is no food service, and you are encouraged to bring a picnic if you wish. Love it.

Mornington Peninsula's best cider producer. We make a range of traditional ciders and perry along with a fruit infused range including Blackcurrant, Mango, Strawberry & Lime, Spiced and Ginger.
Went up to the Peninsula for Australia Day. They had the best apple and pear cider of all the places we went to! Tasting paddle was good value. Even took a 6pack home! Great service, great spot! Thanks

We found this winery as we were driving past, we were the only ones there. The staff were super friendly, happy for us to do a tasting $10 a head, not pushy and didn’t hover. Told us about the property and poured first 2 wines then let us enjoy them and then he came back with the next two reds. Gardens are also amazing. Just be mindful of the weather as the road in is a small dirt road and could be tricky when raining

Hart's Farm grows heritage variety apples to make our traditional bottle fermented ciders. We also have an olive grove with 1100 trees to produce our extra virgin olive oils. Visit our Farmgate shop for tastings & sales of our Ciders, olive oils, apple cider vinegar & cordials. We also have on-site accommodation - a perfect couples Retreat.
What an amazing stay! The farm studio completely exceeded expectations, including a bathroom which delivers in every way. A freestanding bathtub night enough to comfortably fit 2 adults, talk about luxury. Breakfast provisions were plentiful and top quality. Beautiful sour dough bread, local berries, home made spread and honey plus plenty of coffee and tea. The standard of hospitality was amazing and I never felt like I needed more. The views were absolutely beautiful from the room! Take a walk around the farm, we found a pony, beautiful monuments to family members and rows of apple/pear trees. Beautifully secluded but still only a short drive to anything you would need. An a incredible stay and would highly recommend!

The Cups Estate is situated on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula in the undulating dune region known as 'The Cups'. Lunch Thurs to Sun Extended opening times during school holidays. Bookings required.
We had a wonderful lunch at The Cups Estate. From the wonderful ambience of the restaurant, with its views over the olive groves and vineyards, to the cheerful and efficient service, everything was perfect. All our dishes were superb, but perhaps the highlight was a plate of heirloom carrots presented with explosions of flavour. The food is presented tapas style, so be ready to share. We had a couple of glasses of rosè with our meal, but enjoyed a tasting of the other wines beforehand. We particularly liked the Pinot Noir.
