We're a craft brewery and kitchen obsessed with quality, located in the heart of downtown Kingston. Open every day.
We were in Kingston visiting Queens, and while walking round, stopped at Stone City Ales. We were absolutely blown away with their speciality craft beers and ales. Easily some of the finest we've had, ever. Service was friendly, the ales were wonderful, the ambiance perfect as the evening set in. It was a great place to hang out, and while the patio was full, we found a great table overlooking the street. Would go back in a heartbeat. The ales we tried were the Yath Rock Gose – a sour wheat with lime and minneola zest, with lemongrass, corainder and rock salt. Stunningly refreshing. The other was an incredibly smooth oatmeal stout – a generous, velvet of a brew – you can literally taste the nuts, the hint of tobacco come through. A delight. One of us had the awesome non alcoholic sparkling Joia sparkling grapefruit and cammomile drink. It was pure fresh, pure magic. That it was a warm summer evening added to the experience, and the guy who served us added to it all. Fantastic!
