We transfer the spirit of the land we live to our wines. We will continue to bring our guests to Alaçatı region with our wines. We will continue to make good quality and natural amphora wines . My wife and me are Ege University Food Engineering graduates. After working in different sectors, we decided to go after the wine that made us feel more free. Alaçatı was the place where we dreamed of opening a family winery and natural products shop. We have established a small factory to offer wine to our wine lovers. local wines of Gemici family. You can buy handmeade artisan ceramics homemade jams & pastas, olive oil soap , olive oils, essantial oils, natural apple vinegars, pottery handcrafted, atelier ceramics.Alaçatı alışveriş dükkanı..
The Gemici family makes traditional Turkish wines with both native and noble varieties which you can find in their lovely shop alongside jams, soaps, and other homemade items. The wines are fresh and easy, great for pairing with the Aegean foods! I especially like the Sultaniye and the Aya Katrina. .

In the turn of the century, Urla Sarapcilik started a journey to reestablish the lost reputation of Klazomenai, assemgling its old custom with a modern approach in their own vineyards. Urla Sarapcilik, focusing on viticulture and wine production on a regional scale, aim to revive the ancient wine culture of the area and bring its glorious heritage to future. Spread over 350 acres, our own vineyards are overseen by organic and good agricultural practices since their early plantations. 150 to 200 thousand liters of quality wine are produced from endemic and international varieties improved though ongoing clone selection practice. Standing on as passionate as ever, Urla Sarapcilik is determined to open new horizons for its homeland that is earning better recognition as a tourist destination day by day.
It is a special place. The vineyard is the biggest in the region. Modern and good quality wine production facility. It was designed in the form of wine drop. Enjoy wine tasting. My favorite is Urla Nero D’avola.

First let me say that we are from San Francisco and we are a short drive to Napa and Sonoma. So, our expectations were not too high when we stopped at MMG. However, the wine that Meltem Atalay is producing is very nice indeed. We had their wine tasting and appetizers of cheese and fruit and from that we came away with thirty bottles of wine including the dark-blush and three vintages of the Cabernet. The blush is very drinkable now. The Cabs, of which we bought 2011, 2014 and 2017 are all excellent. We opened the 2011 when we got home, decanted it, and enjoyed it a lot as the tannins have softened. Being unfiltered, which I particularly like, they have a complexity far beyond their price. We have a condo in Kuşadası and now have a nice closet of wine to use while we are here for three months. The location of the winery is great and it has a beautiful view of the hills and the water beyond. The staff including Meltem as the winemaker and her brother Mert who runs the operation with her, are great people. Meltem’s husband (sorry, I have forgotten his name) also is there assisting and he too is very wine knowledgeable and we enjoyed talking with him. We highly recommend you stop by MMG, for the wine, the view and to sit and talk with such gracious people. Keep up the great work! Gary
