10 Food & Drink in Downtown That You Shouldn't Miss

July 24, 2021 Kandra Bartel

Hollywood beckons to tourists who long for a brush with Tinseltown glamor. Tour movie studios, slip your hands into the famous prints at the TCL Chinese Theatre, or indulge in a celeb sighting at one of LA’s white-hot nightspots. Spot your favorite star while shopping at The Grove, or forget all about the famous eye candy as you take in the iconic artwork at The Getty Center. For a different type of star-gazing, peek through the telescopes at the Griffith Observatory.

LA Cycle Tours

We are not your average tour & sightseeing company. We are a mobile tour company and our tours start all over the Los Angeles area. We don't visit star homes or studios. We offer you fun, unique tours of the city on bikes!. See the real side of the city. Ride a bike while you learn and taste a bit LA's history, Art, Cuisine, and Culture. Most of our tours are between two to three hours long. Everything is included. We also have long distance workout tours like the 33 mile long, "I climbed it" Tour. We have several workout routes available. When we started this company about 26 months ago. We started with an Idea. The Idea was to show people a side of the city that they would not really think of visiting on their own. Our most popular tour is the Taco Tour. If you read most of our reviews, they are mainly about the Taco Tour. It is in my view, the best way to experience Los Angeles. Second most popular tour is between the Neighba'hood Art Tour and the Pastry Tour. Try the all you can eat Taco Tour. Everything is included, bikes, helmets, food and drinks and learn about LA's favorite street food. Our experienced tour guides will make sure you taste and learn a little bit of everything!. Please contact us via email if you don't see the tour you want on our calendar

Angel City Brewery

We were there at dinner time on a normal weeknight. The taco truck parked and served great streetfood – a nice touch. But the best thing about this place is the combination of excellent beers, totally friendly service and great ambience is this old industrial building.

If Disneyland ever needed a school for whiskey enthusiast, Lost Spirits Distillery would be the perfect academy of magical booze. Smack dab in the middle of the arts district comes a never before ventured experience that won the "best distillery tour of 2018" award. It felt like Willy Wonka himself should've came out of the curtains to give us the distillery tour of our lives. Starting from the entrance of the building all the way through the gift shop towards the end, the tour kept us truly captivated within its realm. I'm not sure if it's something in the drinks or the truly dedicated tour guides who made the experience one of a kind, but they hit the nail in the head when it comes to entertaining. And the best part of it all really is not that it's just fun as heck! but at the end of the night you leave the warehouse educated and mind boggled by the facts taught to you. to cap it off, Lost Spirits Distillery Tour is the perfect experience for whiskey lovers, escape room enthusiasts, theme park lovers, and just.....anyone who enjoys art and f.u.n. Here's your chance to feel like a kid again while you sip on that whiskey. Oh yes, and their whiskey bottle prices are reasonable too at about $45 a bottle. Buy a bottle and they present you with a free ticket for a second tour. Which is more than worth it considering they change the tour every couple of months.
