We did this tour with a group of friends, including some kids. The older kids enjoyed it too because it was very interactive. The smelling area for all of the gin ingredients made for a very enhanced tasting. I'm not a gin fan, but this gin is something special. Delicious, and you can really taste all of the different flowers and herbs and spices (some of which is picked right around the grounds of the distillery for an added local bonus). This is a very inspiring story - they had a dream and here it is in reality. Eoin is a great tour guide and has so much knowledge and humour. The tour was excellent and I can't recommend it enough!

Michael and Seán welcomed us girls from a 2m masked distance with open arms. The lads were insightful, enthusiastic and spoke passionately about the brand. We were informed that we were the last group of the year but this certainly will not be our last visit! PHENOMENAL value for money!

The long established tradition of Afternoon Tea has been wonderfully preserved at Ashford Castle since 1868 - you’ll notice the original silver tea set displayed in the Connaught Room, which was presented to Lord and Lady Ardilaun to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary in 1896. With spectacular views from the comfort of the castle’s elegant interior, take your time to savour every delicious moment. Afternoon Tea may be served in The Drawing Room on occasion, with its beautiful views onto the gardens, Loch Corrib and beyond.

We have moved to a new listing which you can find under the Restaurant category.
Dined here this evening and I cannot fault anything! Staff were attentive and friendly & the food was top class! Name badges would be a nice touch to mention the two guys that served us as I think they both deserve a mention for their hard work!

Janey Mac is a beautiful listed old building in the heart of the town, on Bridge Street in Westport. We have two bars on two floors. Janey Mac’s is a traditional pub with a twist, serving a vast array of Irish Whiskeys, Gins, Premium Spirits, Craft beers, Gluten free stout & beers, Cocktails, Alcohol Free Gin & beers. Upstairs@JaneyMac is a luxurious elegant, lounge bar, serving all premium drinks. It is an over 23's bar with a smart casual dress policy.
Dropped into Janey Macs after it was recommended to me as THE place for a cocktail/mocktail. Who would have thought that in the middle of Westport i would be able to sample some of the best non alcoholic cocktails i have ever tasted created by Owen - who is seemingly an award winning cocktail maker. Lovely vibe on Valentines Night with live singing and plenty of storytelling. I would highly recommend a pit stop here ...there are 44 pubs/bars in Westport if you like/love a cocktail this is not to be missed.
