Mr Pumpkin

Reviewed By Charlotte_Lottie23 - Derby, United Kingdom

Had a fabulous morning pumpkin picking at Mr Pumpkin. Amazing safety measures in place for Covid and all staff were very helpful. So many different pumpkins to choose from and loved the maze with a little surprise half way round ????‍♂️ Grabbed a homemade burger and hot chocolate while the kids enjoyed a few rides. This is our second year and we hope to be back next year. Can’t recommend enough to our friends.

Taste of London

Reviewed By SirNorman - County Cork, Ireland

It was June and it was one of those sunny days in the city. In Regents Park they host a most extraordinary array or culinary foods, snacks, barbeques and drinks. It is picnic in the park multiplied by a thousand. Marquees, Bedouin Tents , Arabic tents, rustic wooden sheds and sundry other interface structures, ranging from elegant to rustic to host the hundreds of vendors. Intermingled there area seating areas ranging from benches to deckchairs to sit down and others to facilitate with a place to enjoy your chosen food to experience. Then there was also lying on the grass ! The description of the event is in the name; TASTE of London; as this exactly explains what it is you are about to enjoy. The best in class of culinary artists abound in all the tents where you can choose from a menu what you wish to experience. This is not a meal it is rather a taste portions. Many of the providers area legendary in their own restaurants. Generally priced at £4 a tasting portion it can be regarded by some as expensive. This event is not targeted at the Big Mac fraternity. On the other hand if you want the best BBQ burger or steak you will find it here. I was intrigued by the BBQ King stall with its mouth watering array of beef. To wash mine down I visited the first of many beverage vendors and quaffed some unique craft beer. Further visits were necessary for more liquid as the hot sun and pallet dictated my ritual. As a closing remark; having enjoyed several food portions, not forgetting libations, I was taken by the layout of the event in the Park and admired the non intrusive but obviously well managed plan by people who know their stuff
