Delectable dim sum, floating islands, and a one-of-a-kind skyline are just some of Hong Kong’s unique features. Get an eyeful of traditional Chinese architecture in Ngong Ping village, then take the tram to the tippity-top of Victoria Peak for unparalleled views. The rocks and gentle hills of Nan Lian Garden will bring you inner peace, as will a calming cup of tea in a Stanley café. Become one with everything at the Chi Lin Nunnery, a serene Buddhist complex.

I adore flowers especially orchids so this market was the icing on the cake. Hundred and hundred of bouquets, orchids, bonsai. Everything you can imagine from roses chrysanthemums(another of my favourites) lilies.sunflowers to the rare and unusual. The smells are out of this world. My daughter and I visited on the first day of the Chinese New Year exhibition. it was jammed packed with people and plants A beautiful day of aaaah’s and oooooh’s

This is the area of Ladies Market. They close the street during weekends from 6 to 10pm. There would be buskers performing. Nice singing, especially the group in front of 许留山 dessert shop.

We visited the Bird Garden, which happened to be near our hotel, and were fascinated by it. Amazing to see how many people spend their day doing nothing but tend to their birds or the birds food - e.g. Crickets and worms. There are a lot of different birds - lovely to see however there are heaps of birds crammed in cages together so if this will upset you don't go!! We found it very interesting to see. The goldfish market and flower market are close by so you could do all 3 in one day. Also in this area is the ladies market - a street with lots of stalls selling all sorts of clothing, trinkets etc. the Prince Edward MTR stop is closest to see these markets. Definitely worth visiting the area - it's a visual feast.

This exotic market is also a place where locals bring their own pet birds for airings.

Visited early in morning just as starting to open up. Interesting experience. A negotiator’s paradise although the stand owners can be persistent and one woman in particular followed me all the way out to the street. I waited until the one stand recommended by others opened up and purchased a nice small pendant for $20 from the brother. It looks very nice and is a good reminder of the trip.

This massive Mongkok street market is one of the best spots in the city to pick up a bargain. Find T-shirts, cheongsams, silk pyjamas, chopsticks, handbags, belts, hair accessories, toys, and more.
Great market goes for a few blocks take plenty of cash and be prepared to bargain. Easy to get to on the MTR and just a short walk from there

Fa Yuen Street, known as Sneaker Street, is where hip kids get the latest sports shoes. Find big brands like Adidas and Nike plus boutiques with niche brands, limited editions, and bespoke creations.
A place for sneakerheads! Most of the shops basically sell the same items but prices may or may not vary per shop depending on shoe size availablility. Be sure to check out all the stores before purchasing, you might find a good bargain. It also seems like some shops are being managed under one company but I definitely enjoyed strolling around this street!
