New Delhi is all at once chaotic and calm, a complicated city where cows often wander the shanty-lined streets. The 17th century Red Fort is a mass of domes and turrets, while Chandni Chowk is an exercise in friendly haggling. Jantar Mantar features larger-than-life sundials and astronomical instruments that are still used to predict the weather. Travelers and locals flock to the India Gate, the national monument of India that honors the soldiers who died in World War I and the Third Afghan War.

A typical Indian market that you need for purchasing. It has everything, small road side shops, narrow lanes, lots of bargaining, eating joints (roadside and big brands like KFC, Mcdonald, Burger King, Bikanerwala and lots more), almost all branded showrooms from Raymond, Woodland, Van Husen to whatever you can think of in general. You need good stamina if want to enjoy your shopping and explore different shops. You can also enjoy variety of foods like North Indian, Chinese, South Indian, street food, chaats, samosa, ram laddoos etc. of your taste.

This market as I believe is mostly popular for decorating, antique and crafted items than dresses unlike other markets in Delhi. It is stretched around the outer circle of CP.It is popular among students and tourist alike. Some good footware shops are here. Only thing require here is bargaining. The more you bargain the better price you get for your desired product.

Here you will stuff starting from Rs.50 to Rs. 5000/- depending upon your budget and choice. Avoid to go on weekends too much crowded best to go on weekdays. You can go by Auto of 10 Rs. from INA metro or by metro to sarjoni metro station.

One if the best places to shop in Delhi is South Extension market, both part 1 and 2. A wide range of stores for Jewelry, Shoes, Clothing both tailored and ready made. Restaurants here were not upto the mark, so would not advise eating here, just shop shop and shop.

Purchased beautiful quality vegetable dyed carpets in this unique shop. Great selection of quality merchandise. Sales people are a bit aggressive but this shop has really nice merchandise. Rugs shipped to me in the USA via DHL and arrived in excellent condition and on the promised date.
