This place is marvellous. Jam-packed with lots of local and home-made goodies, the variety of product and produce is astounding, whether meat, veg, beer, cakes, biscuits and other treats. The cakes baked on the premises are excellent, especially the fruit ones which are fit for Fortnam's! And a rustic cafe serving hot and cold food and drinks. Cafe and Kuechen is a special treat for hardy walkers. The staff are happy, prompt and polite - though patience is important when the cafe is full. All in all, an excellent amenity for locals and passing visitors alike whether young or old.

Leicester would not be Leicester with out its Market. I used to go there with my Mum. I love it. One can buy anything New or Secound Hand.

Trading since 1866, Derby Market Hall is home to an eclectic mix of bustling traditional and contemporary stalls. We are very proud to support our wonderful small local businesses who sell a wide range of fresh foods, flowers, gifts, vintage clothing, retro toys, hobbies and craft items, hair and beauty services and takeaway food.
Beautiful building even though it is under construction, it still has a wide range of diverse traders selling everything from Apples to zippo lighters and everything inbetween! Well worth a visit/daytrip out!

I visited the Lincoln Christmas Market 2019 with my wife and sons age 4 and 10 months. I had visited the market before many years ago and thought it was worth a visit to see if it had changed. Well, I can honestly say my wife, sons and I all really enjoyed our day. If you see one of these markets, you should visit Lincoln, it was very well organised and they were great in making sure everyone was safe and could have a nice time. We loved the Medieval Market and spent quite a bit of time in Lincoln Cathedral and in the Castle. There was so much to see and so many stalls to look on, and we managed to see as much as we can. My son loved the funfair too. We thought the prices were reasonable and there were lots of different options for food and drink (the hot chocolate with baileys was fab!) We used the park and ride at the Lincolnshire Showground and it was a 10-15 minute bus ride into Lincoln to the Museum of Lincolnshire Life, handy for the start of the market. The stewards were friendly and the bus drivers. My one suggestion would be to have signs on the car park or split it into zones, when you get back in the dark, it was very difficult to find the car, and it was a challenge with two young children. I have fed this back to the organisers. Would I go again, yes definitely, it really got you into the Christmas spirit, and it is definitely one of the best of these markets and was well worth the 2 hour journey from the Midlands.

This is a great carboot. Much bigger than any other you will find in Leicestershire. You have a good mix of regular traders and people clearing their own homes. Entrance fee is very affordable either as a buyer or seller. Really good vibrant mix of different people here, making the most of some excellent bargains.
