The company Horizon is your link between Cannes and the island of Sainte Marguerite. You will appreciate its peacefulness and walking through its magnificent forest, along the beaches and little coves, having a swim in the clear water. Le Fort Royal is the focal point of the island with le Musee de la Mer (archeological) and the cell of the famous Man in the Iron Mask.

La meridionale runs 3 crossings every night between corsica and marseille, serving ajaccio, bastia, propriano and the phocaean city. Aboard its manageably-sized ships, you’ll find a warm welcome, comfortable cabins and delicious corsican-inspired cuisine. With la meridionale, you’re already in corsica !
A very clean and comfortable trip, with a good value meal and nice cocktails. Transport provided by ferry on arrival at Marseille - due to non-existent pedestrian access

For more than 30 years, our boats have taken you to navigate the waters of the Mediterranean to help you discover our coastline, its creeks, its islands and its depths. The shipping company LES BATEAUX DE SAINT-RAPHAËL has a fleet of 5 boats with a capacity of 38 to 269 seats (ranging from 10.7 meters to 25 meters.)

We were very satisfied with RL services. Easy to buy tickets, Very friendly staff always helpful. They follawed timetable. They only have very high prices for drinks on the boards, 0,33L can of beer costs 4,50€. We took a boat from Golfe Juan to Marguerite island and Saint Tropez. But generaly we can recommend to use RL for boat trip to many places.

This is a must do trip at least once during your time in Marseille. As we were landing, I could see this Archipelago from the plane window and wondered what it was. Luckily I quickly found out that for just under €11 you could hop on a ferry and visit it for the day. The ferry takes you to a couple of the islands. One has the Chateau If which was great to see with a nice restaurant there as well - some incredible views of Marseille and the coastline can be seen and it was a lovely, clear day around 26c - very enjoyable. Ferries are pretty much hourly so when you're done, you can head back at your leisure on the next ferry and be back in Marseille in no time. Glad we did this and some lovely views, pictures and memories.
