Country Treat!

We stayed with The delightful Olive at her Glasha Farmhouse as part of our belated due to covid honeymoon tour of Ireland. Olive is a gem and her Band B is warm, light filled, spacious and charming. It's also really close tot he Clonalav Fly Fishing store and school we went to also. Make sure to stop in and see Johnathan at J. Lonagan's pub. He is a 7th generation proprietor and very tolerant ( actually very welcoming ) of Olive's guests. a 4 cours Dinner was served to all the guest follwoed by a full breakfast made to order in the morning.

Superb!

I booked this B&B at the last minute online as a stopover between towns during my vacation in Ireland. When I arrived, it was dark & rainy but Mary wasn't there. She hadn't received the email of the booking yet. However, she still showed me to a room and was kind & accommodating. The room felt like home and the home cooked breakfast was excellent. Mary is the best. Would stay again.

Felt like being home

Group of 5 on a road trip through Ireland. Booked last minute and Anne was fantastic in making sure we had everything we needed. She also waited for us until midnight for a late check-in and had tea ready for us. Breakfast was superb and enough to get us through the day. The location is like a painting, and if you're looking for a peaceful, friendly and cozy staying, this is the place. Not even 5 minutes driving will get you to the center of Dingle. We'll definitely be back.

A haven of peace and tea.

Reviewed By spl780

I would encourage any authentic person walking the Kerry Way to stay with Sheila in Black Valley. You'll be treated well, fed well, and possibly get a treat when you arrive. For walkers this is a haven, and reasonably priced. If you're looking for a glossy hotel you might want to get a taxi back to Killarney, and that's fine if you need that, but you're missing out on a spiritually uplifting life experience.

Another wonderful family holiday

Reviewed By lisa h

We stayed with Margaret and Michael for our summer break in July for 5 days. Again another home from home experience. I brought my daughter aged 9 and this time her little friend also aged 9. Myself and the girls had a ball. This is a great base for taking day trips to Kikemny Waterford AND Wexford. We took in more interesting places and still have more to explore next time we visit. Breakfast was fantastic as usual and because Margaret and Michael are I interested in people in general this us what makes this Bed and Breakfast farmstay head and shoulders.above the rest. They are charming fun and relaxed and have 2 lovely little kind Charles that my girls got to walk around the house. Margaret thanks for the Apple pie and cream the scones and the homemade brown bread. Thanks from Clara and Mia for the cookery demo one evening. Thanks for opening your kitchen up to us and for the chats. See you very soon. ?‍?‍?

Absolutely amazing stay at Rathgillen House. Peter was a most amazing host. We as a family of 4 stayed 3 nights and could not have been happier. Everything we needed was available to us. The house was very well equipped and the views of the rolling hills were amazing. We got visits everyday from the 2 resident dogs and this was a real bonus for us. Plenty to do in the area and comfortable drive to taytopark, Dublin or even Belfast. We will definitely be returning. Thank you so much Peter, your place is amazing.

The owners of this beautiful farmhouse were very friendly and helpful and even posted me back my phone charger after i accidently left it in the house. I would highly recommend this B&B to stay in. I am sure we will be back to say ourselves again in the future.

Garvey's Farmhouse

Home away from Home.

Reviewed By 873wesl

We stayed here in April. Wonderful folks welcomed us into their home and treated us like family. Meet other "local traveling salesmen " that sent us to a local restaurant and it was great. Mr.& Mrs. Garvey treated me like a son, it was great. Tom even let me try to help doing chores. He only yelled at me once so I think I did ok. I hope! Thank you Wes Littlefield
