I truly enjoy visiting this market. The presence of the Amish is what first attracted me to it because I wanted my grandchildren to see and interact with people who have steadfastly held to traditions for centuries. But one visit would have sufficed for that. But what keeps me returning is the quality of the produce as well as the variety. The chicken barbeque is outstanding. Zook's homemade mint tea and root beer are delicious. There is a wide variety of book goods as well as cured meat. Prices are fair. The service is friendly and efficient. It is a delightful place to spend a part of one's day.

We had seen this place advertised on TV and stopped in on the way home from Hershey on Saturday. What a treat! The furnishings and craft and gift items were all beautiful, though pricey. But for mostly handmade Amish items you expect that. The food offerings and market items were delicious and we took some great meats, cheeses, and produce home. We also had fun wandering around the Log Home, wishing we could take it home with us!!

I visit this place quite often as i am a local and i like the seasonal fruits from late spring to fall. In October they had adorable displays for halloween and exceptional amount of pumpkins and variety found. This weekend is the first weekend where they transition after Black Friday to weekend only and they had great selection of wreaths and Christmas trees.
