Aruba Aloe, founded in 1890, is one of the few Aloe companies in the world that grows, harvests, and processes its own Aloe on site. This Aloe, considered to be the finest Aloe in the world, is the base of an ever growing collection of premium skin, hair, and sun care products. Pay a visit to the Aruba Aloe Museum, Factory, and Store in Hato for your own free tour, which highlights the history of Aloe cultivation on Aruba and unveils the entire manufacturing process, from the hand cutting of the aloe leaves to the packaging of the final products.
Great trip! We arrived at approximately 10 am and made our way inside of the museum. We were warmly greeted at the front desk, and were surprised to find out that there was no entry fee to access the museum. The Aloe museum provides a free tour, and the tour guide took us to a small room inside of the museum to watch a brief educational video about the history of Aloe on the island of Aruba. There were also several plaques in the same room that contained information about Aloe and the significance it had on the island. The tour guide then took us to an area outside of the museum, where he showed us how the Aloe products were made in the factory, along with their various uses. Outside of the museum were several acres of Aloe, and I was surprised to find out that every time an Aloe leaf is cut off of a plant, the plant has the ability to regenerate itself, and grows back its leaves in a span of about 10 months. The tour guide then took us upstairs, where we got a glimpse of the factory, and saw how the various Aloe products were made. At the conclusion of the tour, there was a gift shop where various Aloe products were available for purchase. Tip: I recommend spending an hour here if you truly want to see everything.

Puerto Rico Premium Outlets is located in the town of Barceloneta, one hour from the San Juan Metro Area. Find impressive savings at Adidas, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, BCBG Max Azria, Calvin Klein, Coach, Gap Outlet, Guess, Kenneth Cole, Lacoste, and more. Local Shop & Stay packages are available.
Make a stop in Barcenoleta for a fun outlet experience! The list of stores is pretty much identical to the fashion outlets I have visited in Las Vegas and Southern California: Nike, Coach, Michael Kors, Disney, Aldo etc. plus some local Puerto Rican stores such as Aliss. There also is a movie theater (Caribbean Cinemas) and some Restaurants such Metropol (Cuban/Puerto Rican) and Chilis... A fun place to go and spend some time with your family and friends to shop, eat, catch a movie and walk around.

This is the most incredible place. First place that I go when I get to Aruba and back again another night or two for tasting. Marsha and her husband are amazingly kind and have so much knowledge. They will let you taste the best rum on the island which has every flavor under the sun. They will package your product and have it ready for you.
