You have to watch the timing of your visit so you are there during the peak season for the full bloom - it is so beautiful! Go to the cherry blossom website where they monitor the blossoms and give updates in response to changing the weather conditions. Traffic and parking is very difficult, so if you can walk, take metro, or take a cab, you are better off. We took a cab to the Tidal Basin, but then had a difficult time finding one to return. The Tidal Basin can get very crowded during peak bloom, but it is worth it..... find a place to just sit and enjoy the beauty!

Marines I salute you. I went with my wife for her second Marine Corp Marathon. What an amazing event. Well planned, hugely attended, extremely safe, and down right spectacular. The expo at Gaylord Palms was perfect. The security by the Pentagon was perfect, The Marines were true to form approachable. Professional and to say the least they made me proud to be an American, even more than I already am. Thank you for a job well done

With an intimate stadium, music between points, cheerleaders, and mascots both tall and round, the Washington Kastles offer a high-energy experience unlike any tennis tournament in the world. In nine short seasons, the Kastles have quickly rewritten the record books of Mylan World TeamTennis. Our roster of players changes annually but we are happy to include professionals like Venus Williams, Martina Hingis, Nick Kyrgios, the Bryan Brothers and Frances Tiafoe among our most recent 2017 season.
