Went on this tour last October, and had a wonderful experience! Silvia was our guide and she was so amazingly sweet and thoughtful. We travelled with a french couple and she literally explained everything in two languages: French and English. Not only is that extremely nice, I can only imagine the energy that takes :) The whole experience of driving through Douro, the wines, the people we spoke to and the delicious wines we could taste: would definitely recommend. Love, Dennis & Vera from the Netherlands

We did a private tour to Coimbra and Aveiro with Touch Tours in the first days after the reopening post Corona on 24 June. A super positive experience. Spacious luxurious vehicle, super punctual and caring guide called Tiago, full respect for the new corona safety measures - I travelled alone with my 3 teenage children. The commutation with Touch Tours (André) from start to finish was impeccable. The company listens to what you want to do. We are very satisfied.

Xavier not only educated us on Conimbriga but also the surrounding area. He took us to these beautiful limestone caves, to the town of Rabaçal and bought us it’s famous artisan cheese and bread. What a lovely surprise. He showed and explained the markers for the Fátima and St James pilgrimage trail. Both going through Conimbriga. We highly recommend this tour by Xavier.

We had booked this trip months ago and were not sure what to expect. It was expected to be a small group and really lucked out when it turned out to be just the 2 of us!. We had the best driver Celso Araujo with his very confortable BMW and our very knowledgeable, polite and professional guide Gonzalo Murta. Celso was very cautious of the road as he drove us while Gonzalo gave us a very detailed history of how Portugal came to be throughout the years of wars and conquests, very impressive!. He really knew his stuff. Once in Porto we had of course a porto wine tasting which was included in our tour and it was really very interesting. Afterwards we had lunch in a typical Portuguese restaurant(delicious) and then on to a 50 minutes river cruise also included in our tour. We walked the town as Gonzalo pointed out most of its landmarks, did some souvenir shopping and returned to the car which Celso had at the ready!. This was a very pleasant, informative and enjoyable tour. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a great day in Porto. Hopefully you too luck out and get to meet Gonzalo and Celso!. They were amazing!!. ????????

We are a family with 2 small children (2.5yrs and 5 months) and she completely took care of us - from helping with children, to explaining the sights, driving us to different parts of the area, being super flexible and helpful, great English language skills, recommending what is best for us, etc. Highly recommended!
