This outdoor tour, which starts at Gamla Stan Metro station, connects the history of Stockholm with modern Sweden. This was a great experience! Bengt was a knowledgeable, personable, engaging guide who taught me so much about the history of Stockholm and Sweden. He welcomed my many questions and we were never rushed. Walking tours are a fun way to learn and experience, as well as get oriented to a place. Sad when this tour came to an end! Highly recommend.

The south-island of Stockholm has evolved from being the industrial area of the city to a cultural mix of art, environmental development, religious acceptance and social awareness. On this tour we will enjoy the views of Stockholm from several landscape points, walk around beautiful gardens full of sculptures, mingle with the locals at the markets… Södermalm is a prime example for every European city to follow: the perfect combination of social acceptance, cultural flow, economic power and green development. We will start at Thor´s fountain and talk about Viking mythology, as it's the cradle of Swedish culture. This way the cultural evolution of the city will be understood from its roots. Update on Covid-19. Following the measurements of the government, and considering health, the guide will keep the distance as much as possible. The guide will have gloves, face mask, and hand sanitizer.

Voted as one of the most beautiful city parks in the world, the island of Djurgården has been in possession of the royal family since the 15th century. Like no other place in Stockholm it collects many of the city’s most famous museums and cultural attractions (the Vasa Museum, Gröna Lund, the Abba museum and Skansen to name a few) with green nature, parks, and family-friendly activities. The island forms part of the Royal National City Park, and on this tour we explore what that exactly means and dive into how it has a tradition of over 400 years as a paradise for recreation and entertainment. The favourite part of the tour was to know more about the “old Stockholm life” and to know more about the culture. The guide was top (5 stars) and he helped us with some restaurants to try the traditional food and to try the famous fika at 15pm!! I really recommend to the future visitors to do the private tour with these fantastic guides!
