The meeting place was easy to find and Ana was a few minutes early. She whisked us away in her comfortable minivan for a day comparing and contrasting Cartagena and Murcia.Ana is warm and knowledgeable and packed a lot into our day. Best might have been the interpretive centre for the ruins of Cartagena and the walk through the pedestrian part of Murcia. Ana's English is clean and rich; she lived awhile in York in the UK. I was in a wheelchair rehabbing a broken leg, and it was obvious that Ana knew how to adapt the tour for people with mobility issues. She made sure the places she chose wer accessible and it was one of our best shore excursions on the whole cruise. Highly recommended.

Having been numerous times in Cartagena on cruises we wanted to do something different than just exploring the town on our own so I contacted Quality Guided Tours with whom we have toured before on a tour to Murcia and soon Jordi and Ana had us set up for this tour a few months ahead of our visit . I had formed a group of 10 people and we met our guide Ula Jimenez at the meeting place near the ship. Ula took us to 3 different locations and ordered the wine and Tapas for us . Some of these Tapas we would not have know as tourists to order but they were all very good and so was the wine . Ula also told us a few things about the city in very good English. Everything was perfect exept for that in a couple of the places it was so busy that there were either no seats for us and it took a little while before we could be taken care of in the one location who I believe should have been told ahead of time that we were arriving . All by all we were very pleased with the tour , the guide and the quality of the Tapas . We specially loved the final special Cartagena coffee , milk , liquor final drink of the day . I highly recommend Quality Guided Tours for any of their tours after now a couple of experiences.

Take a trip back in time and learn about the 2,500-year history of Cartagena during this 3-hour private walking tour along the Roman Route. Walk past some of the city's most important roman monuments and ruins, archeological sites and other time´s buildings, with a stop for a drink and typical regional tapa.
Inclusions: Local guide, Refreshment (1 tapa (little snack) and 1 drink), Entrances to Roman Theater and Roman Forum
Exclusions:
Our guide was informative but a few problems that can be fixed..1 tapa at 3 places. One drink at each place. Too much sitting the last 90 minutes. I would have prefered the first half which was walking around historical sites plus either a lunch or 3 tapas at one spot. It was too much small talk and not enough food. We actually went out for lunch after the tour because we had not eaten breakfast..
