Our guides are expert and work for many years to welcome pilgrims and visitors from all over the world. We are local guides and we provide tailor made guided tours including the not-to-be-missed places : the grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes, the fountains and the baths, where anyone can experience the healing waters. Through the architecture of the basilicas, your guide will tell you about the religious history of this world-famous marian site. You will probably be amazed by the size of the underground basilica dedicated to Pope Pius X, where 25,000 people can attend a mass. You will also follow in the footsteps of Bernadette Soubirous, the aged fourteen girl who saw our Lady at the grotto in 1858. Her birth place and the former jail where she lived during the events are included in your private guided tour.

Inclusions: Professional guide, All Fees and Taxes, Pick up from your hotel or the railway station for the walking tour

Cathy gave us exactly what we requested and more in our visit to Lourdes. For non French speakers or those with a limited ability to speak French, Cathy is fabulous. She is knowledgeable in the local history and was wonderful helping my disabled husband access the baths and sights of the Lourdes Shrine. She knows how to help bypass all the tourist lines for those who cannot stand in line. She arranged for all travel for us even during one of the busiest times. She treated us like friends or family, not customers. In a word, she is wonderful, the best tour guide we have ever had.

We went on the 2 hour tour of the old and new city. It was brilliant fun (despite falling off - no lasting damage ????). The guide was really knowledgeable and passionate about the city which made it even more interesting. We would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Montpellier, particularly for a short period of time as you can whizz around and see all of the main attractions in no time at all.

We had a lovely day going around the region, visiting wineries and tasting (a lot of) wine. We had a top notch guide (ask for Nicolas) who taught us so much about wine in the cote du rhone. He answered all of our questions and was very entertaining and helpful all day long. We visited two wineries in the morning, had lunch at a picturesque castle and two more wineries in the afternoon. In between, our guide gave us lots of information on wine and the region in general. You will get plenty of wine during the tastings. There is no pressure to buy although you can if you want to (you will probably want to :)) Highly recommend if you appreciate wine and want to lear more about wine in this region.

dear all travellers, its me again! another day another review. Me and judith decided after this crazy year we have all had that it was time for a spiritual break. We booked our tour in hope of gaining a stronger connection to the Lord. We arrived bang on time to find robertto no where in sight so we had a panic. It must have been at least an hour and robertto finally turns up with no apology or sympathy he just rocked up with his dora the explorer backpack, walking boots and quater length walking shorts in the colour beige. We began our pilgrimage with another couple named margaret and jonathan who were both gorgeous and made us chuckle quite a few times, although jonathan was slightly cheeky and did try to have little flirt with my wife judith ( i was unimpressed) It was lets say about 2 hours into the walk we were going over some difficult and challenging walking conditions and i fell even though i had my new mountain warehouse walking boots i still managed to fall (complaint has been forwaded to mountain warehouse ) i looked to my left and noticed robertto had a cheeky little smirk on his face i was already disappointed with him but this just tipped me over the edge (literally) and even worse it was the gorgeous jonathan who struggled to pick i knew myself that i shouldn't have had that extra croissant this morning. Overall, i do wish to visit again and maybe making to the destination this time as due to severe injury i couldn't complete my pilgrimage. Auvoir!
