This is a day trip around Mt. Fuji which is one of World Heritage Sites and said to have the most beautiful figure in the world as an independent mountain. You can enjoy the scenery with many other sites around it in each season, taking the public transportation. You can enjoy the different Mt. Fuji scenery at each site, for example, with a five-story pagoda, a lake and a town, and in each season, for example, with cherry blossoms, fresh green leaves and turned red leaves. A lunch restaurant near Lake Kawaguchi has a unique way to cock. They grill meat on a plate cut of the lava field in front of guests and it's said to be very healthy as the extra fat of meat drops off through the holes in the plate. See inclusions and excursions for what is included in the price of this tour.

Yoshi was a great tour guide. He tells a lot of stories and takes you to your desired places and then some. We went to the National Gardens, stopped to say hi to Hachiko, and went to the Chiku Chiku Cafe. The Hedgehogs were so cute! They're usually nocturnal and the one I was visiting, Butter, was really tired and wanted to sleep so I only took a couple pictures and let him rest the rest of the time :) Take care Yoshi! Hope you have more fun adventures

At the end of a month long cruise to China and Japan, we had 1 full day in Tokyo to see as much as possible. Mr Oriol was our guide for the day. He was very knowledgeable, providing information about Tokyo's history, culture and sites to see. The day was quite flexible and at our own pace. There was no expectation that we would hurry through each destination. At some sites Mr Oriol accompanied us, at others he waited patiently for us to finish. He joined us for lunch and guided our choice from the menu. We were delighted with Tokyo Grand Tours and would highly recommend to anyone wanting a chauffeured personal tour of Tokyo. Guy readily communicated with us prior to our arrival in Tokyo and our 'pick-up' was problem free. Mr Oriol was always courteous and enthusiastic. Great value for money.

Effective : Because the guide and driver is same person. On top of it, he plays Photographer's roll. Comfortable : Because the cars we use are spacious and luxury. We were picked up at the Yokohama cruise terminal on a private van. The tour guide was very professional and very diligent. We had made a schedule beforehand and the guide made sure we visited every stop. I would greatly recommend this to anyone that's travelling with a group of friends or family looking for a private tour.

My 2 friends and I went on the beginners Spring Tour 2019 for our first trip to Japan. We loved it and can't wait to go back! Becky and Shawn are awesome. They were so down to earth, helpful and very knowledgeable. I also really liked that the tour group is small. It allows you to get to know your fellow group members and ensures personal attention from your guides. We saw so many large tour groups at tour sites and they looked a little chaotic, it made me happy we chose a small group. The accommodations were always clean and comfortable and located perfectly. Food was amazing!!! If you are willing to try new things you can have an amazing gourmet experience. The events and locations that Becky and Shawn chose were top notch and we got to experience all different modes of transportation while there.

The flexibility to chose locations that suited our wants and abilities was great. Hiro San was very quick to put together an itinerary that accommodated a family with a stroller-baby (no monkey park due to long unpacked walking paths). Taking in the beautiful temples and view of the Kyoto from the west was breath taking and the guide was able to explain many things we as new Japanese learners could not read or know through cultural knowledge. Overall a great experience, a wonderful and lively guide, and some great memories.
