We had a lovely 5-day desert tour with this company. They fulfilled all their promises laid out in the itinerary for the superior accommodation tour: all the food, hotels, desert tents, staff, and sites visited were excellent. Our driver Rachid was patient, kind, thoughtful, and flexible with our requests for bathroom breaks, walks, and some omissions from the itinerary. Email communications were excellent. The desert camp was wonderful. The scenery on this trip through the Atlas mountains and oasis valleys is stunning; it truly is a highlight of a Morocco trip. Our only suggestion for improvement is lunches, which are not included in the itinerary. These are set tourist-menu affairs for the most part, meaning tourists are taken to restaurants that offer a fixed-price set menu (and that price is high). This is likely the case with all desert tour operators in Morocco. When we traveled on our own in Moroccan cities, we ate where locals ate at a fraction of the price of these set-menu restaurants. To be fair, if you know the lay of the land and request to eat at a certain restaurant, your driver would likely take you there, but that means you have to do your own sleuthing. Apart from this complaint, we highly recommend this tour.

We booked them for the overnight desert experience including the camel riding which was such amazing trip! We came on our own car from Marrakech to Merzouga, where we met Mohamed and went over and beyond his duties to ensure that we all feel safe and comfortable. We left our car in safe parking, have the camel ride for more than one-hour, tried sandboarding, and had the overnight in a luxury desert camp. We shared many stories with our guide answering all our questions and had fun around the camp-fire. I highly recommend this desert experience!

My best friend and I were originally supposed to take another tour with another company, which fell through at the last minute. Talk about fortuitous!!! We could not have been happier with the tour and especially our driver Omar! Wow. Omar was so very friendly, personable and knowledgeable. And what a sense of humor! He geared the entire trip around what we wanted to do, and would stop anywhere we wanted to stop (“ooooh Omar- what’s that?” “Would you like to stop?”) My friend and I (we are both American) ended up taking the tour with a Russian couple and by the second day it felt as though all 5 of us had already been friends who decided to go on road trip together. The places we were scheduled to stop were beautiful, safe and friendly. The night at the Berber village was fantastic, where we took a desert camel ride at sunset and then another the next morning (don’t let “camel trek” scare you off. It’s not much time spent on the camel) at night there were drums and singing by firelight, with about 10 other travelers from different treks. And let me tell you I have never seen stars like the ones I saw in the Sahara. I didn’t want to even blink so as to soak up every moment. If you are in Fes and on your way to Marrakech, this is the way to do it. This company also does other routes so check in with them if that’s not your exact direction. Whichever way you go, take your time and soak up as much of the local culture as possible. If you’re a shy traveler, it’s a great way to meet other travelers and really learn about and get a feel for local flavor. Its very affordable and if you are lucky enough to get Omar as your driver, any questions you may have will be answered with aplomb. Can you tell I cannot say enough good things about Omar? He really made sh*t happen. One more tip: if you are planning on renting a car and driving in Morocco, I would advise against it as a foreigner, especially if you do not speak Arabic. I was planning on driving myself from Marrakech to Chefchaouen and cancelled the car reservation upon arrival to Marrakech after seeing how many police checkpoints there are throughout Morocco. Having a government sanctioned/licensed tour company like this one is your best and safest way to go, with far less hassle from the police. Have fun and I hope you enjoy Morocco as much as we did!

I was in Morocco with a group of friends and Omar and Moha were so kind and helpful! They made me visit places that usually tourists don't see, and it was magical!!! They helped me a lot to communicate with locals and that's my best memory, because it's wonderful to make a full immersion into the Berber culture. With them you can have an experience that goes beyond touristic attractions. After pandemic I'll surely come there again!!!!!! Thank you guys for the amazing experience you made me live ♥️♥️

The trip was well originised! The driver jamal picked us up from our riad and within 30 minutes we were on site. The guides were very kind and helpful. We drove the quads for approximately 2 hours and had a little break with authentic marrocan tea and snacks. It was quite an easy trail but there is also a more adventurous part on this trail. Overall a great experience with marrakechcitylife !!
