The basilica hosts thousands of visitors per year. There are four guides who speak English, including me. My colleagues and I want to use our language skills to maximize your 1.5 hours visit to this beautiful site and city. In addition to the basilica, view of the presidential palace, visit to the Felix Houphouet-Boigny Foundation for Peace, and Crocodile Lake, we can visit a cacao plantation (3 km from basilica), artisanal village (20 km from basilica), the golf course (1 km from basilica) or have lunch together.

We are Americans living in Côte d’Ivoire. Yamoussoukro is a must whenever we have business partners or friends visiting. We always reach out to Jean-Luc for our tours of the beautiful Basilica and other sites in and near this unique political capital. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and also funny! His English (and French) are great. The tour is included with the 2500 CFA basilica entry fee - but visitors grab him quickly so reserve with him on Trip Advisor. As a guideline, please consider a 10000 CFA tip for two people- he works hard and makes sure every guest learns the hidden secrets of this amazing site !!! You can also book him for a city tour - have fun!
