Praised and adored for its smooth characteristics and beautiful patterns, silk has been long one of the main attributes to create clothing, scarfs and used into interior design in many hotels around Cambodia. This protein-fibre material and its applications into textile have been long the base for a stable industry, where local artisans used their weaving skills on looms for clothing royalties and dignitaries in the past. Its techniques and breeding the yellow silkworms are time-honoured traditions and with places such as the Puok Silk Farm, customers can get up and close with the delicate processes to get the raw material in fabrics of the highest quality. • Get the ins and outs of the delicate processes of silk production • Watch how silken thread is spun by local artisans • Admire the work done of a local NGO to keep looms moving • Learn about the ancient Ikan weaving method • See the final products at the farm’s own shop • Transfers from and to your hotel are included.

We started our tour at the war museum. It was really good and informative. You learn a lot about the Khmer Rouge and what they did. It is a horrible story, but very interesting if you like history. The tanks, weapons, grenades and the helicopter was really cool to see in person. The killing fields was disappointing. The only thing to see are the monument with skulls, which is pretty dark and really reminds you how bad this war was to the Cambodian people. The Artisans Angkor was so cool. You really get to see how they make sculptures with stone, tree and other materials. Really worth a visit! Overall, I would recommend this trip to everyone who visit Siem Reap.

We were on a 16 day trip through Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand organized by Realistic Asia and absolutely loved it! They organized all of the flights to Vietnam and then home from Thailand, as well as the internal flights. They also booked the hotels and the tours, although we did organize some additional tours ahead of time on our own for the leisure days. Each of the tours tended to be run by people local to the city being visited and each of the tour guides was very professional and very enjoyable. The itinerary was such that we started in Vietnam, beginning in Hanoi and then Hoi An, and Ho Chi Minh city, then to Siem Reap, Cambodia and finally ending in Phuket, Thailand. Each of the places was different and had things to admire and explore. Phuket was the beach place, although we found Hoi An had a great beach as well. We were very impressed and very happy with each and every hotel we were booked into. They were all very clean, nice and safe and had great staff. Would happily go back to stay at every one of them again. The travel agent who worked with us, David Huynh (Dat) was amazing! He was super responsive both before the trip when we had questions and during the trip when we were unsure about anything. We were on the leading edge of the Coronavirus pandemic and he actually noticed that our original flight to Vietnam was going through Seoul and we would have been forced to quarantine upon landing in Vietnam so he went ahead and changed our flights just days before we were to leave. We then got a notice that our flight home had been cancelled and that we needed to catch a flight home a day later. He went ahead and extended our hotel stay another night. We didn't even have to pay. We did not know what to expect when we booked the tour but after having gone we would enthusiastically recommend Realistic Asia and we would definitely go on another trip with them.

Arranged a custom tour (S21 and Killing Fields) a few weeks in advance of our trip. The MotoGirls (Mey Mey and Na) were waiting for us in the hotel lobby right on time. After seeing the scooter traffic buzzing around the city I was a little apprehensive but after a quick instruction we were off. I quickly realized these gals really "know their stuff" and enjoyed the ride, dodging traffic and buzzing down alleys and along highways. After we visited each site the girls sat and talked with us about what we saw and then moved on to the next stop. The ride back to the hotel was longer than I had expected, it took about 40 minutes . Well worth the price!

This tour is a private day tour with customizable, we provide private transportation with an English speaking guide to guide you during tour, the price is final for 2 persons or 3 persons. the group sharing tours are much cheaper but are a totally different experience. On a group tour, you’d be shuffled along with others never treated as an individual. The experience I provide is almost exactly the opposite!
