From the remoteness of Peru’s Andes Mountains to the unexplored territories of its Amazon rain forest, the country holds a mysticism all its own. It’s the motherland of the Inca civilization and home to Machu Picchu, alpaca products, and more than 4,000 types of native potatoes.

Each room has a private bathroom fitted with a shower with toiletries. A TV with cable channels is provided as well as free WiFi. Airport shuttle services and excursions are offered for an extra fee. Now feachuring a new Kitchenette. Santa Teresa is 26 km from Hospedaje Neydita, while Santo Tomas is 12 km from the property. The nearest airport is Francisco Secada Vignetta International Airport, 7 km from Hospedaje Neydita. This property is also rated for the best value in Iquitos. Guests are getting more for their money when compared to other properties in this city.
Hospedaje Neydita was our stop for our first night in Iquitos before moving on to our rainforest lodge. This hostel was in a perfect location along one of the squares, and served our needs wonderfully! Hospedaje Neydita offered airport pick up which was greatly appreciated as the airport in Iquitos was very chaotic with taxi drivers and Tuk Tuk drivers attempting to solicit services. Check in was a breeze and everyone at the hostel was extremely friendly. Our room had large windows and located just outside of our room was a patio that overlooked the square for great views. In the morning before we left, we had great conversations with the hostel owner Luis. Luis spoke excellent English and shared stories of his journey to owning the hostel as well as the interesting people he had met over the years. We would definitely recommend Hospedaje Neydita for great location, affordable and comfortable accommodations, and friendly service!

My brother and I are present at this facility for a week and we had a great time. Jorge the host is very kind and welcoming , like all his family. His son Luis, who is studying tourism, is an excellent guide to choose and to organize the tours to visit the best archaeological sites. By choosing this structure you experience the experience of being part of a Cusco family.

Went with family for lunch. We were good received but all basic sanitary protocols. We were invited to main lunch room at the terrace. Good digital info of main courses. 10-15minutes waiting time (we were the only one lunch clients). Basic to somehow nice presentation. Good but not outstanding food taste & quality but expensive. Frozen lemonade was not frozen. No boleta or factura available. Restrooms inside lodging area.

This rural complex of high-end wooden huts, which occupies 30 hectares, It is 1.5 km from the Plaza de Armas of Oxapampa. The cabins are wooden houses and have private terraces, cool bar, microwave, and heated pools with outdoor showers. They are also equipped with bathrooms with skylights, queen bed, in addition to ceilings with wooden beams. All have Wi-Fi.
We booked this Ranch at the last minute and rented one of their cottages. The service was great and the friendly guide took us around on a walking trip in the hills behind the site. Being the rainy season it added to the charm of the place. The location is great and a wonderful breakfast was served, freshly prepared. We had to stay longer than we expected due to getting blocked coming back from Pozuzo but is was all worth it. Payment by credit card was not feasible which is a bit of a drawback.

The Tambopata Research Center (TRC) is a comfortable 24 bedroom lodge. Because of its remote location in the uninhabited wilderness, housing stable populations of endangered wildlife, the small scale of its infrastructure and operations and the presence of researchers and naturalist guides, Tambopata Research Center is an excellent headquarters for in-depth explorations of Amazonian nature and wildlife giving you the opportunity of unique wildlife encounters such as 35% chances to see a jaguar, 67% chances to see a troop of spider monkeys and its paradise of scarlet macaws. It is the only one located in a half-hectare clearing in the middle of the uninhabited portion of the Tambopata National Reserve, less than a kilometer from the two world's largest and most diverse macaw clay lick. The Tambopata Research Center is now only 4.5 hours away from Puerto Maldonado taking 1 hour by bus plus 3.5 hours by boat. The experience includes all land and river transportation from /to Puerto Maldonado airport, a set of activities and excursions that you can choose from, all meals and accommodation.
My son, my brother, and I visited TRC in May. We all agreed it was one of the highlights of our trip to Peru. We had an amazing room with an outdoor seating area and an outdoor shower and bathtub. The days can get a little warm, but the nights are cool and we slept well under the mosquito nets. The included food was great and we looked forward to our meals. The bar was a nice spot to sit and wind down after a day of touring/hiking. Jair, our guide, was amazing. He knows the rainforest well and spotted so many animals. He took many pictures for us. it was great getting to know him and the other guests in our group. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this lodge and company.

Originally, “La Maison” (“The House” in french) was a family house which have been recently turned into a Boutique Hotel at 3 minutes walking from the main beach of Mancora. Created with Love and built in total harmony with the nature, “La Maison” is a real safe heaven among coconuts palm grove. Covered with thousand coloured Bougainvillea leaves, this house made of bamboo and noble local wood (Hualtaco) will seduce all the travellers in search of peace and serenity.
We’ve been traveling for some weeks when we decided to stay at this hotel to take it easy for some days. The hotel is a lush green oasis and the perfect place to chill, read a book and refresh in the pool. It’s very close to the beach and the local surf schools. Staff at the hotel is amazing! Very friendly with great vibes and helpful with whatever you need. It’s almost like staying at a friend’s place. We can absolutely recommend to stay here a few days!

We are a natural medicine healing center located in the heart of the Amazon rainforest.
I went to Refugio Altiplano 3 times in 2012, for two weeks each time. I couldn't get enough. Scott Peterson was the owner then. I was 60 years old, and I'm so glad I did it while I was still young enough to get the most out of it. The experience was indescribable.....most fun I've ever had in my life. Go if you have the opportunity. I assure you, you won't regret it. You'll probably fall in love with it,like I did! Jack Welch
