The cabañas were the perfect relaxing oasis from our usual city vacations. The beach was right in from of us and every night we enjoyed a magnificent sunset. We borrowed surf boards and ripped around beginners bay which was just a 10 minute walk down the beach. Everything was perfect.

Our House is located one block away from the beach and all the action. There´s a spacious common area, an open communal kitchen, pool, wifi, free breakfast, free filtered water, A/C and the best view in town atop our private lookout. You´ll be immersed in art; each room is adorned with custom murals and hand-made fabrics. We´re serious about eco-friendly. You´ll appreciate the solar powered hot water showers, solar lighting, composting, recycling, eco building and locally sourced breakfasts. YAY
We stood there for one night and really liked it. I really appreciate the air conditioning in our room, as it was easy to use and not making any noise. Everthing was clean, staff was very helpful. Breakfast was very good as well.

There are 3 fully furnished cabins outfitted for short or long stays. Tucked away on a private part of the property, you will find the Mirador—a spacious room with a large terrace and pool, overlooking the lagoon.
This place is great - the view of the lake is magnificent. We stayed in the lake view room and it's worth the extra price. You have complete privacy as there it is a stand-alone building. There's no kitchen like in the lodges up the hill, but there is a barbecue, a coffee maker, and a microwave, so it's adequate for meal cooking. A large outside table with the lake view is fantastic for the meals and the private pool is awesome. the only minus was no internet in the building - had to walk uphill a bit to connect to the main apartments. Highly recommended.

My experience at Vibra Guesthouse was perfect. Communication with Carolina, the manager, was easy. She assisted with my reservation and was a great resource for information about the area - things to do an places to eat. The cabina was just as described on their website. Traveling solo, it I was perfect for me. The kitchen is well-equipped - although I did not cook as much as intended on my 4N stay. I will next time. The new blender did come in handy for smoothies and drinks! The living area/loft/bathroom was also well-equipped. There were several fans and plenty of outlets for devices. Extra towels in the bathroom w/ soap and the like. The bed was comfortable and linens were fresh. Good internet. The outdoor patio was the highlight and where I spent most of my time. It has two tables, hammocks and, a couple of bench seats. It is shaded and is a great spot to hang-out. Everything is kept-up and in tidy condition. Red Pepper next door has a really good Chicken Curry on Sunday nights for $8. I had a great chicken and onion calzone down the beach at Viento Este Pizza and a good hamburger at Casitas Pacifica. Great pastries right next door to Vibra. The Market has just about what one might need. Walked the beach in both directions and visited the plunge pools one morning. It was very laid back in Playa Guasacate and not many people - just what I needed. Will definitely stay longer next visit.

The owner of this hotel is not in his six senses! He treated us very bad. He almost beat my husband and was very irrispectful. If he was like this with man, can't imagine with woman. nnt recommended for solo woman travelers! This man is scary, really!

The room was cheap but very noisy, the window didn't have glass, the wifi was not good, the room was full of ants and not very clean. But the worst was the owner!! She seemed very helpful at the beginning, helping us to rent a scooter. Speaking with people after, we realized that we payed a lot too much. More, we had a very bad experience when we wanted to give back the scooter. We let him know since the beginning that we fell when we're stopped and that we caused a very small mark. The owner of the scooter, that was obviously family of her, tried to invent a lot of things to make us payed a lot and she was on his side. It was full of lies, his scooter was old and in very bad state and he wanted us to pay for everything asking us for a crazy price. This woman told us that it was the price. We called friends from Nicaragua that told us at what point it was not the price. At the end we asked to call the police and we "just" payed 30 box more. But it was a very bad experience with this woman that wasn't honest at all.
