We spent 4 nights there in one of the 3 rooms upstairs and were satisfied. Our target was hiking in Prokletyje so we did not spent much time in the place during the day. Breakfasts were ok but quite repetitive, daily omelette and bread, twice the "burek" in addition, once jam. To drink tea or coffee [poor]. We had coffee so we brewed our own. The kitchen was rather modest, but there was the kettle so we had a boiled water. It was late September, the weather was poor [chilly and cloudy], so the room was quite cold, but the landlady gave us an electric heater. In the bathroom there was a small leak, but was not disturbing anything. The slight inconvenience was compensated by the wonderful mountains surrounding us. And the hosts were kind and nice.

Very tasty food for the low price, really huge portions, nice stuff:) Beautiful views around, mountains, field. Bid amount of meat dishes. Everything was fresh and delicious. Love this place. Definitely worth to visit!

It was a totally delightful experience to stay at Country House Djurisic run by Marko Djurisic. The estate has been in the family for over 500 years, has its own vineyard and produces its own wine. It’s a custom upon check-in to be invited into Marko’s cellar for a complimentary wine tasing. Marko’s estate has it’s own fresh spring water for drinking (so thirst quenching), extensive gardens which include vegetable and vineyard areas and a traditional smoke house which is very much in use. The second floor apartment is large, spotlessly clean, is beautifully furnished with family heirlooms and had everything we needed for our short stay. The owner Marko, previously a professional guide for trekking and hiking, has a wealth of knowledge of where to visit and explore to share with his guests, as he did with us. The rental includes breakfast and Marko offers traditional dishes of Priganice and Burek which are too delicious for words. His mother offers traditional home-made dinners, produced from locally sourced andhome grown products in their garden. You won’t taste anything more traditional or delicious in the area. As you enter Virpazar, unfortunately there are a few unscrupulous locals who try to charge for parking as you enter and sell overpriced boat tour tickets. Fortunately, Marko knows everyone locally and we had been briefed that all the parking is free and recommended to use Golden Frog Boat Tour (Virpazar) who were totally superb.

Ethno Lodge AB is family business that provides traditional montenegrin hospitality. Set in a peaceful area, only 10 minutes walking distance from Virpazar. We have two 60sq meters chalets, and two 35sq meters studio apartments. All our guest can enjoy in a well maintained garden full with various fruits. Beside, we also have our own boat, and we do tours around the lake to make our guests have a unforgettable stay. Be our guest!:)
We had a great stay at this cozy b&b. Alexander was amazing to work with, he helped us find transport to Albania and booked us a beautiful boat cruise with his brother. This is definitely a family business and you can feel the love and amazing hospitality by everybody involved. His grandparents who served us a delicious breakfast and surprised us with (literally the best) peach I’ve ever tasted from their garden after we checked in were SO sweet and made this experience even more special. Highly recommend if you want to relax and experience true Montenegrin hospitality. :)

Arriving a day early from Croatia, to Montenegro, I found myself in Igalo at Guesthouse Djurisic for one night. Situated on the edge of Igalo and about 3k from Herceg Novi on the bank of a little river that flows into the sea, it is a peaceful location, particularly at night, which is always a bonus. The room was huge, the bed comfortable and it had an en-suite bathroom with a good hot water supply. I had my own balcony with a table and chairs. All for a very reasonable price. Aradmilla the host made me feel very welcome. She made me Turkish coffee and even cooked me a delicious dinner of local trout and potato. I was not expecting this. It was a welcome surprise. It made my stay very special. The view of the mountains from the guesthouse was stunning. The guesthouse is very convenient for Igalo beach, one of the better and real beaches in the area, and for the Igalo Institute and other spas in the area. The area is also excellent for walking, swimming and cycling. A good base for exploring the Kotor Bay area.
