Boasting Medieval fortresses, Roman aqueducts, Mediterranean coastline, endless vineyards and expansive national parks, a visitor could spend a lifetime exploring sunny Languedoc-Rousillon. Sitting on the geographic divide between the Iberian peninsula and mainland Europe, the regions towns and cities, including beautiful Carcassonne, Nimes and Montpellier, are connected by paths both ancient and new. Hike Via Domitia, a Roman road, or rent a barge for a trip down the Canal du Midi.

We booked two rooms at this hotel months in advance for a close friend’s wedding. Three days before we were due to arrive I received an email from the hotel cancelling our booking. I immediately telephoned them to find out what was going on only to be told they were fully booked on the second night we were due to stay so we would have to find somewhere else. The man I spoke to was rude and unapologetic and we were left trying to find somewhere else to stay at the last minute on a bank holiday weekend.

Really, these people make certain you have the time of your life there! They are really friendly and so helpful! And they give really good tips to see the area, as Lagrass and the FontFroide abbey, they know the restaurants (or tell you they don't and thus you have to take a risk XD) It's a beautiful B&B and garden, nice and large rooms, a small cosy village. When I'm back in the region, I'll defentely stay here again! thank you for everything!

Have just done a week here the chalets are really nice and very clean. Let’s do some pros, cons and it’s ok’d. Pros: 1. Very clean 2. Not overpopulated 3. Nice and very clean pool and spa facilities on site 4. Manned office throughout the day 5. Cons: 1. Flies (dear lord if you come here, come armed with a multitude of exterminating devices) 2. Not cheap in my opinion 3. The local bar is aweful and the beer is terrible. It’s OJ’s 1. The local village is very local and has a good (but expensive) bakers All that said and if you have a car the Gorge du Tarn is incredible I mean like incredible, we did a canoe trek and a boat trek and it was amazing. The grillo bar in Vignes is lovely and the food is great (a little pricey but great). Any questions just ask!

The holiday village Les Gîtes de Ravel consists of 22 gites spread over 3 hectares of nature between pines and chestnut trees. All gites are equipped and decorated in the same way and have the same equipment. Each cottage has a separate entrance, an independent terrace and its own barbecue. The privacy of each is preserved since there is no opposite or it is very limited. The summer activities are proposed every day and we welcome you in a friendly, family and quiet to enjoy and rest during your holidays!
Very welcoming atmosphere, allowing both private and convivial activities in our holidays. Safe but free environment for the children. The owners are very welcoming and always ready to help often going above the expected.
