Enjoy the unique Khmer culture and experience something different on your visit to Phnom Penh. You will learn how to cook three authentic dishes of your choice. The Feel Good Cooking School is run by two young chefs, with more than 4 years experience as a Khmer food expert and cooking teacher. Our school is a social enterprise under Feel Good Cafe, focused on training, employing and empowering Cambodian youth to run their own sustainable, responsible businesses.
We had a completely amazing time - the chef who hosted us had very good English and 10 years cooking experience. We started off by deciding which meals we were to make with our fellow classmates and then set off to the market to source the ingredients. At the market he let us taste a few unfamiliar Cambodian fruits in addition to the ingredients we sought. He also went into great detail when describing the various fruits and vegetables we came across. We felt that he invested a lot of effort to immerse us in our Cambodian food experience. The cooking was really well instructed and the dishes were totally delicious. Couldn’t recommend more!!

We are a fun Cambodian cooking school and restaurant.what you have cooked when you have finished! morning classes start at 9am, afternoon classes at 3:30pm.
This was booked for us by our tour company and I was slightly ambivalent about going, but am so glad I did. Interesting and informative and the food we cooked was really tasty - probably the best spring rolls I have ever had ( and I have had many!). Definitely inspired to make them at home.

This cooking class offers traditional Khmer style cooking lessons. I will teach some of my favorite local dishes that define the delicious flavor of Khmer Cuisine. These lessons include all the ingredients which will be used to make 2 - 3 dishes. When the dishes are done we all enjoy the meals together.
This was a really fun morning. Five of us booked and did three dishes each. The school is really well set up with a large oval cooking counter complement with 10 cooking stations. Sinuon is lovely and very good at leading you through the process for the different dishes. Her school is the same location as Nyam restaurant. If you like cooking, and Khmer cuisine I highly recommend this class.

Our experience is fresh and pleasant. Slovenian host and his Cambodian wife drove us with mopeds to the viewing point above the city, where we spent a pleasant evening, was eating a local food and drank tasty Angkor beer. We also drove to the waterfalls (along a macadam road along mangrove plantations and wonderful views of the landscape) and the temple Phnom Yat - we spent a wonderful day together. They took us to the market where we had a chance to shoot unlimited photos and had genuine contact with local people because of their presence. They know where you get the freshest fish, the most delicious coffee and the cheapest cigarettes. We've got a first-hand information on how to prepare some fruits and vegetables we don't know (and how/what to eat). They helped us with shoppings at fair prices. She (the host) is a great cook, so she prepared a number of really delicious dishes of sophisticated taste, including a BBQ. With her excellent dishes she has proven that you can use huge quantities of garlic, ginger and chilies in the dishes, and you will still enjoy in the taste. Her dishes were definitely the best food in the 9 days of Cambodia (top-notch). Besides to mother tongue he also speaks English and Khmer, so communication is not an issue. Highly recommended.

Chef Bunsoeurb provided a 1st class experience, starting with a trip to the market to purchase the produce for our class. His interaction with the produce vendors was wonderful to watch and he guided me to what was safe for me to eat (celiac), Chef also customized the menu to accommodate my allergy. Sharing this experience with my son, made for a very memorable experience. Loved the outdoor cooking space & the staff was fun & attentive. I have been fortunate enough to take cooking classes around the world and this experience makes the top of my list. We created a delicious and beautiful meal.
