Capitol Residence is a well-appointed mix-use building that blends a combination of residential, hotel, commercial, and offices, where these functions are physically and functionally integrated. Capitol offers studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom serviced apartments available for both short-term and long-term stays, providing all the hotel-like amenities but with the space, comfort, and privacy of home.
This place always feels like home. Spacious room with lots of light, good location, staff are friendly, sometimes i get on the house coffee and great breakfast. Having the restaurant at the rooftop is also a plus, good view of Mekong River. :) That's why i keep on coming back!

I'd return. The room is spacious and the balcony facing the street is a great place to relax. Very clean, good water pressure, comfortable bed and decent a.c., once you learn to insert your room key in the socket close to the balcony! The food choices within a one minute walk are varied and excellent. We loved both the Taj Mahal nearly across the street and the Atmo, directly behind the corner. All in all, other than the lack of a pool or an elevator, this place was absolutely fine.

I stayed 2 nights at AO apartments because I needed to extend my Thai visa. I truly wish I could have stayed longer. The apartment is basic, but very clean and has a little kitchenette. The location is in a very small alley opposite a beautiful Temple. Just 1 minute walk from the popular restaurants and 5 minutes walk from nightmarket and Mekong river. Staff, especially Kai is very friendly and helpful. From all my visits to Vientiane this budget accommodation is definately my favorite. Will return in November for sure!

We arrived at around 8pm, we were told reception would be closed but the door would be left open and someone would be there to meet us. After a stressful day we arrived at what we thought was the entrance however no one was there. After around 10 minutes of searching and having to shout hello someone greeted us, with a laungage barrier we finally got let into our room. The room was extremely basic and the only entrance past 8pm is very dingy and not very welcoming. So would advise if you were staying here arriving early. All this aside the next morning we met the owner and she was extremely helpful and made us feel a lot more at ease and happy with our stay here. Overall it isn’t a bad place to stay however i feel like there may be better in the same sort of location.

2017年1月15日に1泊しました。 部屋はちいさいですが、コンドミニアム式で、安価な割には、快適です。 隣接するレストランにて、ラオ・麺が食べれます。

I've stayed here a couple times now, most recently in the midst of a family road trip during the New Years. The hotel is down a small road from the main road but it is only a short walk from convenience stores and restaurants. Parking can get a little cramped as there is only a small area up front for vehicles. The hotel is definitely an old and very modest establishment but the rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom though can get a bit cramped and my bath tub wasn't thoroughly cleaned out when I checked in. There is a TV in the room but the signal for some channels wasn't all that great. There is free WiFi but there was an issue with signal range due to a problem with the router but I was fortunate my room had no problems. Service is good from the little front desk area but I didn't take breakfast at the hotel as there are plenty of options in the city. I was only there for 2 nights so overall it was a decent budget hotel for my short stay.
