Camelia studios & apartments is a family friendly beachfront complex located right on the beach of Kato Stalos, 7km west of the city of Chania. It is divided into 10 studios that sleep 2+1 guests and apartments that sleep 4+1 guests. All air conditioned rooms are recently renovated(2015) and offer fully equipped kitchenette, refrigerator, LCD satellite TV, safe box and Free Wi-Fi covering all areas of the hotel. Each one has a balcony with sea or garden view. Its location is very convenient for all day swims at the beach right in front of the hotel, and afternoon walks alongside the coastal road where one may find numerous restaurants, coffee shops, bars, Super Markets, shops with local products and summer clothes and accessories Owners and staff are always available at your disposal with useful suggestions and a warm smile to start off your day, so WELCOME to Camelia Studios & Apartments!!

Located on the beach with great views and close to some of the best authentic Greek restaurants I've ever been in. The property is well maintained, immaculately clean with great rooms. Dora the host is very welcoming and a credit to the islands tourists industry. We loved Camelia that much we have booked our third trip

We love what we do and we want you to feel the same way while you are on holidays in Chania. Comfortable rooms All our rooms are spacious and equipped with the necessary items to make you feel at home - plus even more (air condition, safebox). Next to the beach As we are situated right on the beach, there is no way to get closer! As you leave your room, you enter the beach!
Fantastic place to stay
Reviewed By rachelhP3533LRI stayed here with my son last week (Oct 21) and we loved it. It was exactly as described and looked just like the photos. The room was spotless and very comfortable with nice fluffy pillows. I asked for some extra blankets as I was a little chilly on an October night and a couple of hours later they were bought straight to my door so I was impressed with the service. They were very friendly and made time to speak with us when we walked past the reception in the morning. Our apartment had great views of the sea and we could lie in bed and listen to the sea. As I am recovering from a brain injury, this was the perfect place for some respite. Thank you so much and we will definitely stay again!

Summer holidays in Crete 2021
Reviewed By 110kostasaExcellent Accommodation, service and hospitality this summer, in superior double room of Hermès beach hotel. The arrival experience was nice and smooth, the owner Mr Ermis welcome my family, as well support us with our luggages transfer. The garden is very nice, the view is amazing and the access to the beach is immediate. Children’s were very happy as they don’t have to walk for a swimming at the sea. Next to this accommodation you can find all the grocery shops as well many good restaurants and tavernas. The bus stop for Chania, is exactly out of the property. Very comfortable….!

Lovely apartments with fantastic views
Reviewed By Joan MWe holidayed in these apartments in May 2019 - and they live up to all the photos. Located up a hill, away from the main resort, they are quiet and peaceful (apart from the local dogs!). Maria, the owner, is lovely and cannot do enough to make your stay a pleasant one. There are some lovely walks up to and around Nana Stalos, and the main resort, with its sandy beach and tavernas, is about a 12 minute walk away. We would recommend these to anyone who likes a quiet, relaxed location, and would definitely go back.

Reviewed By artemis_mousI stayed at this beach hotel with my boyfriend in July 2020 and it was the beginning of the summer season, so everything was still chill. Amazing atmosphere, minimal decoration, very friendly staff. We liked the breakfast - perfect balance between sweet and salty flavours. It is at a convenient area, only 7 km from Chania. The beach on the front is very beautiful and if it's windy, there are many options a few kilometers from there. We will definitely stay there again when we revisit Crete! ?

Not hidden, but a gem it is!
Reviewed By elrobbo1968We stayed here for 2 weeks, and we loved every minute of it! You get a amazing seaside view with the sound of the sea to sleep on. The rooms are typically Greek and have everything you need. You can eat delicious food right on the beach in the shade. The staff is amazing and wil do anything to make you enjoy your stay and are all smiles! The airconditioning is super silent. The hotel is on the very end of the street with lot's if good restaurants and shops. Park in front of the hotel. We recommend this hotel highly! We have visited Greece over 20 years and this one is easely in our top 3!

Reviewed By AlettakiWe spent two fantastic days with the family (2 adults, two young kids). This boutique hotel is located at a very beautiful and tranquil area, with uninterrupted view to olive groves, lake, valley and mountains, while it is only 15mins away from the beach and 20mins from the hustle and bustle of Chania. The hotel is small scale (4 suites). The pool is perfect for (young) children. We were impressed by the entire hotel being accessible by wheelchair, including accessible kitchen, appliances, bathroom, doors, balcony, everything designed with accessibility in mind, including the pool area, the sun beds etc. Everything extremely comfortable. BUT: what sets this place apart (besides view and accessibility), is the owners: Yannis and Maria. There was a heartwarming welcome, fruit and water in the fridge, including Yannis’ homemade raki. Everything was taken care to the tiniest detail, from the information folder about the area and restaurants that deliver food to the hotel, to the colourful pebbles decorating discretely the pool area. This hotel, really sets the bar, not only in terms of hospitality, but also and specifically in the arena of accessible tourism and enabling inclusion. Not only for Greece, but also for European/American standards, it sets the highest standards. Congratulations to the owners. Definitely a recommendation; ideal for everyone, couples, groups, family gettogethers (book the entire place!!!).

Closed for refurbishment on arrival!
Reviewed By Olly SWe booked this about ten or so weeks prior to our arrival via Booking.com. When we arrived it looked closed as there was building materials in reception we could see as we pulled up in our hire car. Sure enough the owner came out, who had recently purchased the site from a family owned business and was renovating/ updating. He apologised and told us he had notified Booking.com weeks ago that they were closed and we were the third couple to arrive that day, all having booked through Booking.com. He did offer a room, but said as we could see nothing else was avalible due to the works. He was straight on the phone to Booking.com as were we. We managed to book else where within an hour and we stayed there. The guy was extremely helpful and apologetic so hence the review.
