At first sight this condo Bahama Sands 902 didn’t look too bad but it really needs some renovating. Vacasa texted me shortly after arrival and asked me to rate the level of cleanliness. At that time I gave it a 3.5-4. Their reply was they’re glad the cleanliness held up to my expectations. I replied back because it did not meet my expectations. They asked me to send pictures of the areas I had problems with and asked if I want them to send someone to reclean it. I declined as we didn’t want the cleaning to interfere with our vacation plans. We just decided to wipe things down ourselves. I told them we only received two washcloths for the entire condo and not that many bath towels. I asked if they could just bring some to us. Their response was they only provide fresh linens and 1 bath towel, hand towel and wash cloth per person. I repeated that we didn’t get all that. They apologized and said they’d alert their local cleaning staff. We never did receive the correct number of towels and washcloths. Other problems we found were socks left outside the front door, sock left in the master bedroom, water bottle on floor by couch, crumbs left on toaster, hair ties on desk in bedroom, cigarette butts on balcony (even though large signs posted no smoking, vaping, marijuana, etc), stains on bedding. The washing machine was so dirty. I used a Clorox wipe and the dirt came right off which proves housekeeping just didn’t clean it. I went to use the dryer and checked the lint filter first. There was so much lint packed into it like it’s never been cleaned out before. That was pretty disgusting. The condo had a bad odor. There was an empty air freshener plug in the wall by the door which makes me think they must be aware of the smell. We went to Bath & Body Works and bought three wallflowers to make it smell better. The furniture needs to be replaced especially living room. The arm rest of the chair is ripped and the couches are worn down and don’t look good. I ended up sitting at the dining room table most of the time. The master bath tub is outdated and could use some caulking. It does have a lot of potential. The main issues come lack of cleaning and furniture and carpet needing to be replaced. The unit itself is great with each bedroom having a balcony plus there are three windows in the living room/dining room area. It really brightened the place up. If staying at Bahama Sands again I would definitely chose a corner unit again. One other thing to mention, our first and last nights there were sirens that went off in the building and announcements in the stairwells saying do not use the elevators. Fire trucks came. The first time I call the operator to find out what was going on and if we needed to evacuate. This must have been a central answering service because the man asked what hotel I was at. He wasn’t aware of anything so he’d have to make some phone calls. I never did hear back from anyone. The sirens went off about 10-15 min after the fireman arrived. This happened at 10:30 pm the first night and 4:30 am the last night. Not sure if this is a common occurrence. Sent from my iPhone

The Sea Pines Resort is a popular 5,000-acre oceanfront vacation destination on Hilton Head Island, SC. The highly acclaimed resort featuring The Inn & Club at Harbour Town, the island's only Forbes Four Star hotel; Harbour Town Yacht Basin; three championship golf courses; world-class tennis; superb dining and shopping; five miles of pristine beach; a forest preserve; a 15-mile network of leisure paths; watersports; eco-adventures and more.
We rented a house that was dog friendly and came to see it all and check it out. The fact that dogs can go on the beach before 10 and after 5 is one of the reasons we chose to rent here. The bike paths are also one of the best things about the resort...we could ride bikes every day, the stores and restaurants within Sea Pines were fantastic and the grocery store was right outside the entrance, so that was great. This is a resort for whole families...old and young alike. We will return in the winter for sure when it is not so hot. The beaches are lovely, but they aren't that easy to get to, so be sure before you rent that you have the access to the beach that you want. . The Beach Club is a great place to walk the dogs as all the beaches are.

Had a wonderful stay @ Myrtlewood Villas (5/7-5/14/22). The 3 bedroom/2 BA condo was perfect for a Mother’s Day family trip. Condo was squeaky clean, all of the beds were super comfy, the balcony had a HUGE table w/ 4 chairs overlooking a pond , which was fabulous for morning coffee & dinners in. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the proper utensils and essentials. In condo Washer/Dryer is a nice touch ( yay! To not having to play laundry catch-up upon returning home). The outdoor pool was heated and lovely, the indoor pool/lazy river was fun on a rainy, cold day. All of the area tourist attractions were close by and a breeze to get to ( no waiting in bumper to bumper traffic, like on Ocean Blvd), absolutely no parking issues whatsoever and security was visible/patrolling the premises. Why stay in a hotel when you can stay in a fully equipped villa with a washer & dryer, entertainment centers, TV's in bedrooms and living room, DVD players, all kitchens utensils and tableware? Each unit is professionally decorated and refurbished every year. Island Links Palmera, a Palmera Vacation Club affiliated resort, is located on beautiful Hilton Head Island, perhaps the finest resort community along the Atlantic Coastline. Hilton Head Island boasts natural beauty along with a playground of outdoor activities. World renowned for it's golf and tennis, Hilton Head also offers a variety of water sports, miles of bike paths, wonderful restaurants and great shopping.
Our condo was clean and spacious with two bathrooms and three bedrooms. One bedroom had two queens, one had a king with an attached bathroom with a oversized whirlpool tub and a large shower, and another bedroom had a queen bed. There was a balcony off the living room that was shaded view of the ponds and the fountain and the pool and we were looking through the trees. There are so many trees. The Natural beauty is wonderful. We called ahead to wheelz and ordered six bikes for family for the week and they were parked in the bike racks outside our condo when we arrived. They have baskets. We love the 6 o’clock in the morning bike rides and it’s easy to ride all over that side of the island on the paved trails. We rode for hours some days taking in the beauty. We ordered chairs and an umbrella for the week from “Charlie” and the chairs can set over your shoulders like back packs so they are easy to carry even riding a bike. The front desk helped us get in touch with Charlie. There is a beach nearby and sometimes I would drop off everyone with all the coolers and such and drive back to the resort to park and ride my bike back because the parking was not always available but the bike ride is only 10 minutes and so peaceful! Then I would ride back, get the car, and pick everyone and everything up. They also have a a shuttle but we never used it. We didn’t do any of the activities through the week at the resort but they did have some. They have many chairs and umbrellas around the pools. Again the pools are surrounded in palm trees and beauty. There are alligators on the property but I never saw them out of the ponds. The staff was wonderful and we loved our stay!! There are gas grills and picnic tables on the property as well. The beds were nice and there was plenty of storage. FYI Fishcamp and Hudson’s have the most wonderful outdoor seating and delicious food! Also the old oyster bar but we only ate during the happy hour there. Thanks island links for giving me a week of memories to treasure!

Fulfill your leisure desires and access all island activities from the preserved setting of this vacation resort just two blocks from the beach. Walk to the beach or hop on the seasonal shuttle. Dry off long enough to enjoy golf, tennis and proximity to beach restaurants and shops.
We were very pleased with our 2-bedroom unit. The unit was fairly up to date and provided all of the listed amenities. Parking was great. The pool was great. Close to golf courses that we played. Also close to many wonderful restaurants within walking distance.

Overall a nice property. Great location, clean beach, good amenties. The downfall is dealing with the staff. Whatever they tell you, it probably isn't going to happen. Their marketing department will try and persuade you will all kinds of free offers, but they aren't actually free. You will end up getting screwed if you go along. If you visit the property, you will have a good time, assumiing you don't have to deal with the staff. When you bring this to the attention of the sr. management, they don't really seem to care. They just give you a line about "trying to make it a better place". They know the sales department use deceitful practices, but they have accepted it. I think it is just the culture all together.
