My wife and I were driving from San Sebastián to Madrid but didn’t want to spend all of our remaining 3 nights in Madrid. We were looking for spa treatments in Madrid and the average was around €115 per hour in the Madrid city limits. We found Artesa Apartments & Spa on Priceline and got a great deal for staying the night in their suite for €115 for the night. We then both received 1 hour massages for €55 each. So we ended up doing a massage both at night and in the morning for the price we would have paid for just 1 hour each in Madrid. It was a great experience. It felt like a spa retreat. They served breakfast to us at our door. There is only 2 restaurants in town so be aware you are going there to be pampered for the spa. Amazing staff. Great massages!! It’s also a place for skiers in the winter.

We stayed for four nights in June for a running event in Riaza. The apartment was perfect in size for two adults and two kids. Small kitchenette has microwave, bar fridge and stove. Free Wi-fi was available and the kids enjoyed the pool even though it was very cool in the water. Easy 10 minute walk to the centre of the town & Plaza Mayor.

Immaculately clean ,and so well thought out ,our 5 day stay in Seqovia was the highlight of a marvellous fortnight in Spain.Whilst the climb into the old city is a challenge ,readily available Uber taxis at €7 were so quick and the walk back after dinners in excellent restaurants ,down the floodlit hill with the Alcazar to the fore ,is a memory of all our world travels that will last .

We had the pleasure of staying at one of these apartments in October for 6 nights. It was a one bedroom with a view of the countryside. It did NOT disappoint! if we stepped out on the little Juliette balcony and looked to the right, we could see the Alcazar morning, noon, and night. Morning, the countryside and Alcazar would have a little fog - beautiful, serene, lovely. Nighttime - things were lit up, and amazing to see. The apartment was nice. The kitchen had enough to make breakfast in the AM and a dinner or two on the 2 burner stove in the evening. The village was amazing. In our 3 weeks of travel through Spain, Segovia was by far our favorite place to stay. We loved walking out past the huge and beautiful cathedral to get to the village shopping and restaurants. Everywhere was within walking distance. It's a strenuous walk up from the car parking outside the village, but often my husband would walk down, drive in to the apartment to pick me up, and we'd head out for our day of touring. We loved sitting in the piazza in the late afternoon and early evening with a water or wine and watch the families, children and visitors enjoying the gazebo and surrounding areas. There are MANY wonderful restaurants off the side roads within the village, and amazing ice cream and bakery! The hills of the village, along with the cobblestone streets are interesting, fun, and just mean you can eat dessert every night because you'll walk it off the next day! There is a church tower bell that rings every 30 minutes throughout the day and night. Some nights we slept through it, some nights it woke us up over and over - but the village and ambiance is worth it!

This place is located at the bottom of the cliff that the castle is perched on, so we had a nice view of it. It was especially pretty at night. The apartment itself was a nice change of pace from the modern gray hotel rooms you find everywhere nowadays. It had sort of old-fashioned decor and lots of character. It has wood floors and nice artwork. There were wooden shutters on the windows that completely darkened the bedrooms. I wouldn't say it was sound proofed because you could hear people talking in the hallway or moving in the room above, but at night all was quiet. The kitchen is well-equipped, and shower is excellent. We found the location convenient to old town, but you do have to climb up 206 steps to get there. We looked at it as good exercise. There is a small parking lot in the back, so parking is free. Check-out is late (noon) and check-in is early (2:00), which is convenient. The people who work there are very friendly. We were totally happy with our stay.
