Silent, clean and close to a nice beach, very kind owner
Reviewed By Chiara PWe enjoyed staying at Morpheas Rooms very much. They were clean, well kept, the place is silent but still close to a (organized) beach and a very good restaurant (taverna Grameno). Morpheas room has also its own parking place. We recommend this place and are looking forward to coming back!

Nice Apartment Close to the Beach
Reviewed By Flyer40988880236This is a very nice place to stay close to the beach. The owner is very nice and helped us check in and find parking in his driveway. The rooms are basic, but have everything you would need—refrigerator, air conditioning, desk, small patio. The price is very reasonable and the location is perfect for a day at the beach.

Exclusive Cottages, in South west Crete,in a location near the " Nymphe of the Lybian sea" how paleochora named. In a quiet Olive Grove & other trees,wines & manyflowers in a beutiful coloured garden,suit very much to the families with children, prefered more than 4 years old (small children dont understand & may be are noisy).It suit all kind of guests they like the country & we are happy that the last years we have guests more young couples. Very often comes couples they like, to explore the tranquil surounding mountains, gorges,watchingwild flowers in Spring time most,walking the E4 path to Lissos & the small village Sougia.Or watching the birds.Also there is boat you can go all the south coast till Agia Roumeli (the end of Samaria gorge)There is a bus early in the morning & can go to walk Samaria gorge.There is another boat goes to the famous Elafonisi,or if they have a car,( or rent for a day,can go to the pink beaches to Balos & Grambousa island by boat, from kissamos harbour.Some guests painting,write books,walking to the best Anydri beaches,or a small walking (1 hour ) around to the village of Anydri ( old school-cafe-taverna )has nice mezedes (snacks )& Anydri gorgeagan about an hour & Anydri sandy beach & the 2 pebble beaches..!!Also if some guests havenot rent a car, can rent very cheap a bycicle for the beach or the town that is 1300 metresaway & 300 metres from the sea.

Reviewed By 625jamescThese cottages are delightfully set in quiet & lovely gardens about 1 mile from the town which is an easy walk, cycle or taxi ride away. They offer everything you might need, if not chat to Georgia the lovely & friendly hostess, along with her husband Thomas. We are so pleased we stayed here and not in the town, the surroundings, the wildlife, the flowers, the olive trees, it is all magical. About 20 minutes walk in the opposite direction to the town are the beaches of Gialiskari & Anidri, lovely, sandy and with a good taverna offering traditional food & drink. There is also a lovely walk or cycle ride up to Anidri village. We will be returning next year and are really looking forward to it. Thank you ?

"Iris rooms and apartments" consists of 5 spacious apartments and double rooms and it is located in a quiet neighborhood 7klm(10min driving) from the beautiful village of Paleochora. The rooms amenities are refridgerator,equipped kitchenette, aircondition, TV as well as furnished balconies with an amazing view to the Libyan Sea and up to the mountains. In 1 klm distance you reach the beautiful natural beaches of Krios and Grammeno as you can also find supermarket, bakery and last but not least tavernas specialized in Cretan cuisine.

Reviewed By lhg111We stayed at this hotel nine nights. The first four nights were unbearable because of the noise from roosters and dogs. The concert started at 2:30 in the morning and lasted the whole night through till about 8:30 in the morning. We wanted to cancel this reservation and move to another hotel but the hotel owner refused to offer an option for a cancellation. I measured the noise with my smart phone during the night time and it went up to 75 decibel. The hotel personnel said that I was noise sensitive and that barking dogs and crowing roosters are part of the nature. The fifth day we were offered another room with normal noise levels, however half of my vacation was already gone… Besides the above, rooms were ok for their price. Cleaning personnel could be more thorough, but in general was ok. Restaurants, Cafés, Market, are with car accessible. The Hotel is across the sea, however there is no beach nearby.

Reviewed By jasonbroomerOkay for a 2 star hotel. Rooms were clean and decent sized. We paid a little extra to stay in the new block from where you could see the sea from the bathroom if you stood on the toilet. Rooms were serviceable if not a little Formica-ish. A pretty pool with sun loungers scattered about the place serving fried Hun in the main. The hotel is well located close to the sandy beach and there is a beach bar just across the road. Very closer to town where there are some great value for money restaurants

Reviewed By 735gianniskWe booked the presidential suite for a night and something happened so we couldn’t go there.The lady who I think was in charge said we have to pay 120€ No matter what.so we went there and she started yelling about that she would pay the rent for us if we didn’t witch is completely false Ps. She didn’t ask about any pay in advance

One of worst experience in crete
Reviewed By Nomad58985036947First they brought the dishes one by one. Fried calamari and Suvlaki were very hard and dry(potatoes too). If you open the small bottle of oil on the table you have to pay extra 2€. Pay attention to the price cause they changed when you have to pay Quality/Price wasn’t really balanced compared to rest of crete

Reviewed By Robbo456Our fourth year staying at these apartments. No frills but perfectly clean and the owner Emmanouela is a perfect host. Very handy for the beach and a couple of minutes walk into the town centre. Already looking forward to next years visit.
