Wonderful place to stay
Reviewed By JJrich09A huge apartment in a gorgeous location in a quaint medieval village right on the Danube. It had everything we needed and more - complimentary fruit bowl, lots of fresh linen, all sorts of special touches etc. It is a perfect base for biking and sightseeing up and down the Danube. It is connected to the Durnstein Hotel Schloss so go and ask them for any help needed. We did not get the email telling us how to get into the apartment and it was good luck that the porter from the Hotel happened to turn up otherwise we would still be waiting outside! There are lots of stairs and things to trip over so only for agile and able bodied travellers.

Coming from the south: Drive through Bruck an der Mur, over the Styrian Seeberg pass, and through Gußwerk, Mariazell and Mitterbach am Erlaufsee. After the first left-hand bend, heading towards Josefsberg, turn left into Bergstrasse 1a. Coming from the west: Take the Wieselburg exit off the A1 motorway and drive through Scheibbs, Gaming, Zellerrain, Erlaufsee and Mitterbach am Erlaufsee. After the first left-hand bend, heading towards Josefsberg, turn left into Bergstrasse 1a. Coming from the east: Take the exit that is signposted "Mürzzuschlag" off the south motorway A2 and drive through Neuberg, Mürzsteg, Lahnsattel, Halltal, Mariazell and Mitterbach am Erlaufsee. After the first left-hand bend, heading towards Josefsberg, turn left into Bergstrasse 1a. OR Take the exit that is signposted "Mürzzuschlag" off the south motorway A2 and drive through Neuberg, Mürzsteg, Niederalpl, Gußwerk, Mariazell and Mitterbach am Erlaufsee. After the first left-hand bend, heading towards Josefsberg, turn left into Bergstrasse 1a. R&R Residenzen is located on a hill outside the village and can be easily reached via the trunk road.

Reviewed By JohnBuaNice view, ok Appartment, to much Led light (bedroom has more lumens than most work places) for my taste. Plus for use of Granite etc, The whitewares was all very nice, the dishwasher has a hidden compartment where all the cutlery was drying. The cafe machine was a full automatic, and made decent cafe. Sadly the sink was dripping, and the electric heater made sure that the water at start and and stopp of any water usage would Sterilize your hands or anything else you would put under. Cleaning was pretty bad, we found hair and dirt in The bath room. The bedsheets had large yellow stains and a assorted selection of hair, long, short, very curly etc

Reviewed By kuegeleAnfang März 2022 waren wir im Wildpark Hochrieß. Leider waren sie gerade mit Umbauarbeiten beschäftigt, so dass wir nicht zu allen Tieren konnten. Trotzdem eine schöne Anlage. Wir haben anschließend im Restaurant gegessen. Das Ambiente mit dem offenen Feuer ist sehr schön und das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und ist auch auf unsere Kinder (kleinere Portion, separater Teller) eingegangen. Neben dem Restaurant ist auch ein großer Spielplatz, auf dem die Kinder toben können.

Reviewed By KrakwinoAfter nearly a year of the lockdowns and staying at home it was so good to visit the Wachau Valley again... We booked a wondeful room in the newer addition of the gasthaus and could not have been happier.. tastefully decorated and loaded with features ( Cnn and BBC on the tv, small kitchen with fridge and a REALLY comforable bed...) it was the perfect place to return to after a days walking in the vineyards along with the heroic eating and windrinking this area is famous for.....We had our dog Nika with us so we weren't able to rent their e-bikes this vist which are a blast...Cornelia puts out an oppulent breakfast though this time we self catered and enjoyed ours on our private terrace with its lovely view.. We will certainly be back!

Reviewed By DianeC113We had a room for 7 days. Great location for our purpose. The room had poor hot water supply and the flying cockroaches and other night time insects were a nuisance. I had several bug bites. Another room may not present such a problem

Decent apartment not far from the airport
Reviewed By ogol17This is a good place to stay before an early departure or after a late arrival. Large room, good service no great amenities in the apartment. It is close to the airport but is quite far from the city center though so I wouldn’t stay for more than one night.

Reviewed By Kleine2009Waren zwar nur für 1 Nacht dort - aber es war perfekt. Sehr freundlicher Empfang, tolle Wohnungen mit hochwertiger Einrichtung. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und lecker. 2 Golfplätze in direkter Umgebung, die Asia -Therme ca 3 km entfernt. Kommen gerne wieder !

Reviewed By H PKomplettes Appartement mit Küche für Selbstversorger, wobei ein gutes Frühstück mitgebucht werden kann. Sehr freundliche und unkomplizierte Gastgeber. Fahrräder können im Innenhof sicher abgestellt werden. Mit dem Fahrrad sind es gemütliche 50 Minuten bis Wien Stefansplatz.

Reviewed By gilded123From Zelný trh to Hauerhof 99 - asparagus time! Our apartment was spacious, clean with a well equipped kitchen that was great for us coffee lovers. Upstairs from the restaurant - was that a glimpse of the Danube? Excellent hosts Isabella and Mathis and advice on where to go for lunch - as luck would have it Zum Ockermüller had a table free - Spargel cordon bleu !! On our last night after the rest of the family had gone back to Brno we had a tasty meal of green and white asparagus accompanied by some delicious local wines.
