Lovely hotel, very clean room/bathroom, comfy beds and quiet. Right in the centre of Lille, great to explore the town. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Good price and easy access to main landmarks. Highly recommend.

Located in the heart of the residential area Vauban, close to higher-education institutes, Residhotel Lille Vauban benefits from a unique setting, as it ensures you a peaceful stay in a city environment. You can have a walk in the 45 hectares of the nearby Bois de Boulogne or through the picturesque alleys of the old town.
Good short stay place, clean room and friendly staff who spoke perfect English. Good walking distance (10 minutes) to nearest area for bars and restaurants and a 20 minute walk into Old Lille and the main squares.

Really cute place - very clean, comfy & Helene sends very precise instructions on how to get in to the property as its an unmanned hotel. We stayed in “Royale” - the ground floor studio apartment. A bit of a walk to central Vieux Lille but definitely worth the walk as lots of places to eat & drink.

Brilliant especially if you are a large group (we were 9) as we rented several apartments in the building. Very centrally located and very clean. We had the 2 bed apartment so used as "base camp" and was big enough for us all to congregate for coffee and croissants in the morning (and cheese and wine in the evening before heading out!). Beautiful views of an old church out the front of our apartment. 2 small downsides are that the building has narrow staircases and no lift - so if you aren't able to carry heavy luggage upstairs you may have a problem as there is no reception or concierge to assist (we were sent door codes before our arrival). This wasn't a problem for us personally but do bear it in mind. Secondly I had a room on the first floor facing out onto the street...generally between midnight and 1am we had a chorus of people on the street outside making a fair bit of noise as the bars closed. Again, no biggie as I put ear plugs in - but again, remember to pack your earplugs just in case. Friends in the other apartments that did not look out to the front did not experience any noise issue. Great value for money and would definitely book again if we visit Lille

We only visited for one night on our way from Amsterdam to Deauville. We were looking for something funky and we found it! Because we travelled with our 7 month old baby we emailed Christine to ask if we were allowed to stay with babe. She gave us a very warm welcome, we just had to bring our own cot which was fine. It’s not generally a place for kids, more for couples (or maybe friends if you don’t mind sharing a bed, I think all 4 rooms are doubles). She gave us glasses for our wine and was super friendly and accommodating. The beds were unbelievably comfortable and the shower was great, hot and good pressure. Generally the whole b&b is full of amazing stuff and collections. So much to see! Very inspiring. A very nice breakfast was served at a time of our own choice. Coffee, fresh oj, organic breads and homemade jams yummmmm. Would love to come back here and visit Lille.

The hotel is not the hotel in the photo. It is completely different..in front of a night club..dark..dirty..with jacuzzy/Sauna inside the room.. I think are room to stay 1/2 hours. Absolutely not for job travel. No credit card. Sleazy

Live like the Lilloise! Enjoy one of 3 self-catering apartments located in an 18th century building in the Vieux Lille, the most prestgious area in the historic downtown area on Rue Royale. Everything you need is just minutes from the front door. Flakey croissants from several patisseries, great cheeses from the best fromagerie in Lille, chic restaurants and outdoor cafes are at your beckoning! Not to mention the numerous elite boutiques and galleries that will sweep you away and keep you busy for hours.
