With a nearby golf course and gardens, the buildings of the Pierre & Vacances Salou apartment complex enjoy a green setting in a quiet neighbourhood. The spacious, air-conditioned flats are equipped with all the essential facilities for a pleasant stay. Open until November, the 2 large 100 m² outdoor swimming pools with relaxing jets will please the whole family. There is a play area for children at the Salou apartment complex. The Pierre & Vacances Salou apartment complex is the perfect combination of city and seaside holidays, close to the centre and 700 m from the beach.
The apartment has everything you need and the location is great 15 min walk to the beach 15 min walk to port adventure but the block in which the apartment is located is extremely noisy. You can hear everything from all the apartments around you and then you have noise from other blocks 3 nights out of 5 so far up to 2-3 in the morning then you have the building site next door waking you up at 8 every morning. Salou itself has most things you need and is very nice in and around the beach area but if you come back towards this apartment the paths are very dangerous and there's a chance you will step into dog poo at some point not well looked after by the local authorities. Port adventure was great the day isn't long enough to pack in all the rides and shoes on offer.

We stayed in a ground floor sea view apartment which was lovely. Right on the beach front! No road noise from there. We did have to cross the road to get to reception / pool / breakfast etc but no issues, big zebra crossing there. Hotel itself had a little wear and tear/basic in some senses but nothing major. Breakfast option was 14EUR for a buffet but that was a bit basic (some meats / cheese etc but not much if you were a vegetarian for example, usual fry up, some cereals and breads etc). Room was two single beds we pushed together but not particularly comfortable. We did ask at reception and they gave us some double sheets which was nice. Area was mainly hotels and although there were some British/Irish pubs it did seem to be a more "local" area which was nice; i.e. more traditional Spanish menus etc. Supermarket opposite was handy (think it's closing time was 10pm; there was a smaller one in the direction of Salou open later)

Located a 100m. from the beach and promenade, at the tourist heart of Salou. Comfortable and refurbished apartments which offers accommodation for 2/4 people or 4/6 people, equipped with balcony, living room with satellite TV, telephone, electric cooker and basic kitchenware, microwave, fridge, fully fitted bathroom, heating, air conditioning and optional safe-deposit box. Buffet restaurant with show cooking, national and international cuisine. Swimming pool (for adults and children). Children play area. Optional services: parking (on request at Best Da Vinci hotel)and entertainment and bar / cafetería at Best Da Vinci.
Despite the regular reviews on internet, we decided to give it a go. Once we arrived, we requested previously for pool view for the children and they gave us street view. We complained but they ignored it and did nothing about it. The rooms are very basic with tiny ensuite. Our shower was disgusting and I had to go to reception to ask them to clean it. On the second day, we discovered a lovely guest in our kitchen. It was a cockroach which I managed to get rid of. For third time I went to reception to complain about another issue. It's a very basic hotel, really noisy, you can hear everything in the corridors and outside. The air conditioning is a nightmare. No temperature control so when it's on it's just freezing and when it's off, the room is boiling. We only went to the beach once at the beginning and when we left the room, the floor still had sand so the cleaning is not very good. The good things about this hotel is the location, the food at the restaurant (except breakfast which is basic and not outstanding quality). The chef on the grill is friendly and the food over there is really nice and fresh. Always get a sunbed no matter the time of the day you go to the pool.

What a dreadful hotel! The apartments as a space was awesome but as accommodation it was dire. It stank of dirt and stale cigarette smoke, the beds were ripped, stained and falling apart, the settee was ripped, stained and smell. The oven had no shelves in it so was useless. There were no wine glasses. The bathrooms were dingy, dank and grubby. It was cheap to stay here, thanks to Tesco vouchers, but that's no excuse, this place is awful. I've read previous reviews from 2 years ago, which were critical of the same things I mention above. Apparently the hotel was in the middle of a furniture replacement and refurbishment programme in October 2019. Really???

Apartments for 2 / 4, located on the seafront and next to the Hotel Augustus, consist of a double room, living room with sofa, trundle bed, a kitchenette with fridge, microwave, bathroom and terrace. Equipped with heating, air conditioning, safe (optional) and TV. Parking (payment) All services are held at the Hotel Augustus (Reception, Restaurant, Swimming Pool, Cafeteria, TV room, ......)
These apartments are owned and stand next to the Hotel Augustus and in an excellent front line position. They are quite spacious but basic. They have a bedroom, lounge, small kitchen and large balcony. They make a quiet base if using the restaurant and facilities of the Hotel Augustus.

I read the reviews when I booked this hotel and worried about the noise and lack of ability to speak Spanish and I was so happily surprised. Firstly the hotel is in a somewhat noisy road but find me somewhere in that area that isn’t, it didn’t stop us sleeping at all. It’s so close to everything that you’d need, 10 minutes to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants. It’s opposite a beautiful park. The staff could not do enough to make us feel welcomed. There was a slight language issue but everything was understandable. The room was beautifully clean, a little out dated but perfect for a holiday as you have everything you’d need including pots and pans and a washing machine. Now the hidden gem, there is a roof top pool and when we used it, we were the only ones in it every time. It was clean, no leaves or bugs and just very well maintained. It was so lovely to swim looking over Salou, you could even see The Ferrari ride and big rides at PortAventura one side and the sea the other. Please don’t miss these apartments because of a few bad reviews, I really couldn’t see the issues at all.

I booked this apartment because there was a pool, on the website it said seasonal I seriously thought June was seasonal but the pool was not open while we were there from 1st to 15th ruined the holiday I was listening to the 2 boys complaining everyday. I tried to sort it walked the 20mins to the office thought it was sorted but no such luck I gave up in the end and it cost me a fortune entertaining the boys every day. Also it states no pets the whole 2nd week we were woke by a dog barking a few doors away. Was our first family holiday in an apartment I was so disappointed won't be doing it again. Our lovely unopened pool?☹️☹️☹️☹️????????

Was very dissapointed with the service for this hotel ,arrived at 3o clock to no reception ,just a note on door to say to pick up keys at hotel 10 mins drive away ,when got there in a taxi ,had to pay e100 deposit and 7e each adult for city tax which i never heard of before ,then told the room wont be ready until after 5 ,and highlighted that you have to take your own rubbish out ,reception at this hotel was niether helpful or nice ,when got to the apartment ,there is no restauant are bar ,all closed down ,also when got to the pool no loungers to sit on just the grass thats full of ants ,this is not a apartment complex for a family holiday ,this is just a residental complex ,would not reccomend this for familys
