An early English settlement, Norfolk is filled with historic sites and monuments. Norfolk is also home to the oldest U.S. naval port, as well as the Battleship Wisconsin, which was in service from World War II through the Persian Gulf War. Locals and visitors head to Town Point Park for outdoor concerts and annual events such as the Bayou Boogaloo and Cajun Food Festival. Families enjoy relaxing in Norfolk Botanical Garden and touring the harbor on a 19th-century Mississippi riverboat.

I've been to see shows here so many times! It's a gorgeous old site with lots of character. It's on the small side, so no bad seats. It's my favorite theatre in Hampton Roads,

My wife and I attended this venue for the first time last month. The venue was sold out. We had a fantastic time! There was plenty of space and everything was clean. The sound quality there was incredible. I highly recommend.

My lady friend, my daughter and her friend attended the relocated Styx show Monday night at Chrysler Hall. I had two VIP tickets in the third row and two seats in Row "J" center orchestra. Before the show, my daughter graciously offered her seat in Row "C" to my lady friend and she and her friend would take the seats in Row "J". When the house lights went down we proceeded to our respective seats. At intermission my daughter told me that she and her friend were not allowed to go to their seats in Row "J". The usher who stopped them told them that those seats were taken because after the lights went down it was then "General Admission". They were relegated to the last row of the orchestra. I paid top dollar for those seats and on the arbitrary decision of one usher who obviously didn't know what she was talking about, a great concert experience was diminished for my daughter and her friend. It was patently unfair and I am lodging an official complaint and will be writing a letter to the editors of the local papers to share this story. Poor training or just someone power-tripping, there is still no excuse. A great venue, great acoustics but all that can be ruined by one ill-informed employee.
