A fantastic, friendly theatre in the middle of Queanbeyan. A very wide range of music, plays and events every year. Comfortable, well-laid out seating; great staff. We have been going back year after year - each season has a different theme, and there is always something that catches our eye. Really glad that we have this as our local arts venue!

One of the most iconic buildings in the world – the Sydney Opera House is an architectural masterpiece and vibrant performance space. It's a place where the past shapes the future, where conventions are challenged and cultures are celebrated. Step inside and discover the stories that make the Opera House so inspiring. Whether you’re a local or a tourist, a first-timer or an aficionado, the Sydney Opera House has something for everyone.
We have been travelling around in Australia for 9 weeks with friends from Austria and Switzerland. Today we visited the Sydney Opera House at 11:15am. The guides name was Bella. Lovely energetic young lady! It was the BEST, and only tour in the entire of Australia that my friends understood every word of the places she took us to today. Wonderful and very articulate when she speaks. Clear concise and entertaining. It was exactly one hour tour with fantastic stories, great photo opportunities, brilliant setup of lights for the illusionist and the “bumping out” and maintenance of the Joan Sutherland Theatre! Finally tour concluding with a happy ending in the Utzon Room. The building truly is remarkable inside and out with fantastic people working. Must see for all. We are glad we did this and took our friends here today! Do the tour!

Riverside Theatres is the premier performing arts venue in Western Sydney. We are the centrepiece of performance culture in Sydney’s central city, Parramatta offering live experiences you can’t have at home. Well-established and highly respected both by the local community and the national arts industry, Riverside is a successful cultural and community asset of City of Parramatta Council. Riverside plays an important role in building a diverse, thriving local city culture. By connecting artists with audiences, attracting talent and industry and supporting education and innovation, it contributes to the city’s liveliness, vibrancy and economic activity while facilitating authentic community dialogue and interaction. We aim to involve, entertain, enrich, inspire, delight and intrigue artists and audiences from Parramatta and beyond with live performance, events, festivals and community gatherings.
A very nice, well equipped, friendly venue that puts on really slick first class theatrical performances. Good lighting, decent sound, decent seating, and a reasonably priced refreshment stand with decent wines. It is close to a major parking garage and not too far away from public transport (ferries, trains, buses). It is also in the restaurant district so plenty of places to eat and drink, before and after the performance. One of the best theatres I've been to anywhere in the world.

Located in the heart of Wollongong's Arts Precinct, Illawarra Performing Arts Centre (IPAC) is the region's most loved and respected venue for the performing arts. Comprising three versatile spaces, it plays host to a variety of events, from internationally renowned theatre, music, dance, comedy and children's programming, as well as a wide range of community events. Merrigong Theatre Company is the venue manager of IPAC and a vibrant regional theatre company in its own right - producing, presenting and touring exciting contemporary theatre and supporting the development of a wide range of theatre-makers and local independent artists. The name Merrigong, found in early accounts of European exploration of the Illawarra, is thought to be a derivation of the indigenous word for the region's distinctive escarpment.
This is the final season after 20 years of the Wharf Revue. The final season is arguably the best they have performed. The Merrigong Theatre inside IPAC is arguably the most comfortable theatre in NSW with high back chairs and loads of leg room. The view and acoustics are top class. We are privileged in the Illawarra to have something of this standard here.
