Recipient of the Regional Theatre Tony Award, Chicago Shakespeare Theater offers a broad spectrum of theatrical experiences year-round, engaging and entertaining audiences from all walks of life and from around the world.
I was in Chicago for 4 days and I was right there at Downtown. I visited the Navy Pier twice and I am not sure how I missed the Shakespeare Theater. I feel really sad now that I am back. Navy Pier was the highlight of my trip and I just loved that place. Lake Michigan was so alluring and enticing each time I visited. But as they say, there's always a next time. I am sure I will catch up with the Shakespeare Theater next time.

The Lookingglass Theatre Company seeks to redefine the limits of theatrical experience and to make theatre exhilarating, inspirational, and accessible to all.Through theatre, which invites, even demands, interaction with its audience, the company's goal is to fire the imagination with love, to celebrate the human capacity to taste and smell, weep and laugh, create and destroy, and wake up where we first fell --- changed, charged and empowered.
The Lookingglass Theatre's performance of the Steadfast Tin Solider is simply delightful and recommended for all. The acting troupe brings to life a wonderful story through the true art of acting and storytelling. Adults and children alike will love this performance.

Found Blue Chicago with a group of friends that were in town for a business event. Spent a few hours at the bar listening to some great blues performances. The places gets crowded wall-to-wall, but the sound is good from anywhere in the place. The live act on stage was great and really had the crowd engaged the entire set. Impressive and really enjoyed the night there.

St. James Cathedral is a vibrant and historic Episcopal church in the heart of downtown Chicago, welcoming you as you are, without conditions or expectations. Week by week, we grow together, following Jesus into a loving, liberating, and life-giving relationship with God, with each other, and with the earth. We find inspiration in traditional worship and progressive, theologically-grounded teaching which fully embraces all people into the body of Christ regardless of age, ethnicity, expression, orientation, or background. We seek to engage with our communities by listening to our neighbors, serving those in need, and asking challenging and culturally relevant questions about faith, identity, and experience. We invite you to worship with us, to learn with us, to share with us, and to join this imperfect yet authentic congregation where you belong and you are welcome.
It is always easy to see a beautiful church. To enjoy a beautiful church with an amazing congregation is special. The people of this church went out of the way to make you feel welcome. The church is filled with people who enjoy the benefits of worshiping the lord. History to this church is also special. Abraham Lincoln, worshipped at St. James shortly after being elected President in 1860.

Got tickets for my wife’s late Christmas presents. This is our 2ed time here & it’s awesome. Not a bad seats (but could be a little bit more wider for us bigger folks) good sound as well. Will come again. Parking is also convenient (I used the app Spot Hero & got us parking in Water Tower Place for the show for $16.
