The crown jewels, Buckingham Palace, Camden Market…in London, history collides with art, fashion, food, and good British ale. A perfect day is different for everyone: culture aficionados shouldn't miss the Tate Modern and the Royal Opera House. If you love fashion, Oxford Street has shopping galore. For foodies, cream tea at Harrod’s or crispy fish from a proper chippy offers classic London flavor. Music and book buffs will love seeing Abbey Road and the Sherlock Holmes Museum (at 221B Baker Street, of course).

I could not ignore leaving a review on this brilliant production. My husband, sixteen year old daughter and I were staying in Covent Garden over Christmas last year and wanted to fit in a few shows whilst we were there. We had no idea what to expect from this performance but it seemed very intriguing and alluring so we purchased front row tickets. We were pleasantly surprised when the cast members came out and sat on the edge of the stage chatting to us before the show. The play tells the story of what may have happened if Romeo and Juliet hadn't died, with Shakespeare and Anne Hathaway appearing as a typical married couple in disagreement. What ensues is a hilarious modern twist on the original tragedy, packed with brilliant costumes, hit songs and elaborate dance routines. There is also a dose of tear-jerking parts to appeal to our more sensitive sides. The whole cast deserve a standing ovation and we all agreed that we would love to watch it all over again.

We visited here in March (Just before COVID) and saw Message In A Bottle. Absolutely great performance and would have no hesitation in recommending. Always love going to this theatre. Staff as always were friendly and efficient.

Beautiful theatre with so much character. We were booked in the Grand circle with restricted viewing. The view was not spoiled by the safety rail so it wasn't that restricted. As the theatre is fairly small and heavily raked you will get a good view wherever you sit. As for the show fantastic. Witty, inventive, great costumes, great performances and great songs cleverly interwoven into the script. On the afternoon we were there the 2 main female leads were replaced with understudies, it did not matter both ladies as with the entire cast everyone was brilliant. I cannot recommend highly enough this show at this theatre.

Fantastic show focusing on Berry Gordy whilst maintaining the soul and magnificence of Motown with it's many stars including Diana Ross and the Supremes, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson and Michael Jackson and the Jackson Five...moving and uplifting with great voices to accompany some of Motown's greatest hits...Loved every minute of it. Shame it's finished its run in the West End but try to catch UK tour.

Saw Steve Harley last night at Pizza Express Live. An acoustic set that was excellent. Wonderful view from anywhere in the room, excellent sound and atmosphere. This is a superb intimate venue that I'm looking forward to returning to often. Food was, as usual, top rate although I'm not entirely sure my choice of the new Carbonara pizza was the best ( a little too creamy for my taste) but my wife's American Hot was great and the Tiramisu excellent.
