Indulge in the bohemian shops of the West Village or the fine dining of the Upper West Side. The bustling marketplace inside of Grand Central Station gives you a literal taste of the best the city has to offer.

Went to Monday Night Magic last night. It was great. The acts were very high calibur from the comical emcee to the opening, middle, and closing act. The close-up magic during intermission was icing on the cake! There was a nice variety among the acts--a skillful, manipulative act to music; a knife throwing act that was very exciting & amazing, and a comedy magic act that was fun and astounding. Highly recommended.

Ok first up this is a place I've always wanted to visit as I own several albums that were recorded here. The atmosphere is intimate and friendly, sound perfect and only a one drink minimum required. It is not by any means glamorous or glitzy but would have been disappointed had it been so, as many heritage music venues are now basically tourist traps.

I was waiting for my wife to finish shopping so popped into the Piano Bar. It was soon rocking with a great atmosphere. Very rare for me to feel so relaxed but everyone was so fun and friendly. I was calling my wife to tell her to get there as soon as possible; Gladys kindly agreed to repeat her rendition of Proud Mary especially for her.
