A center devoted to promoting and fostering the arts such as acting, dance and sculpture.
Nice co-op featuring local artists using various mediums. Prices are fair and the art is nice. If you are looking for a nice, local piece check this Center out.

Every tennis fan has to visit this tournament at least once in their lives if they can afford to. It advertises itself as tennis paradise and that is not an idle boast though there are hiccups even in paradise. The parking, though well organised especially for disabled people, is expensive at 25 dollars while the queues to enter the venue are lengthy due to security checks and some of the staff go over the top in checking but once you are in the sheer delight at being at such an iconic venue takes over and you are swept along in the euphoria of it all. Message boards give you vital information of the matches along with the courts where the players are practising though it was difficult to get near when the likes of Federer, Nadal & Djokovic were warming up. There are plenty of food outlets to cater for all tastes though prices are on the high side so those on a budget need to consider bringing their own but there are water fountains around to replenish your own receptacles if required. Away from the tennis there is plenty of stands and shows to keep even the most discerning fan amused along with a variety of big stores selling tennis merchandise. I particularly liked the Audi car showroom where a table tennis table was set up for people to play at their leisure with friendly staff on hand to provide equipment. There are Guest Service Booths scattered around to provide information with free stadium guides, match programmes at 10 dollars and Daily Drawsheets at 2 dollars each giving details of daily events such as an interesting tennis talk with tournament referee, Tommy Haase and others. The highlight for me was a 2 hour rock concert on the first Thursday starring the famous Bryan Brothers which had the place rocking while tee shirts were thrown into the enthusiastic crowd though I got bowled over in the scramble to get one. There was free entry on the first two days of qualifying, 20 dollars on the third day and 30 dollars thereafter though that had entry onto Stadium 2 which hosted some great matches.I do hope that prices will be kept affordable despite the high costs that must be involved in staging such an event. All the stadiums that I entered were disabled friendly while the staff and visitors were so very keen to ensure that I enjoyed my experience. I certainly did that and though time is running out it is certainly on my bucket list to return. In my 70 years on this planet I have enjoyed many memorable leisure days but none as brilliant as the three days I spent in tennis paradise. Please do your best to attend.

I’ve been to see The Mod Squad Variety show with Friends at least 10 times. It’s free admission during Happy Hour at the Copa and always a guaranteed good time with excellent vocal stylings of Jeff & Francesca featuring an incredible musical portfolio of songs that anyone will enjoy and sing along with. A state-of-the-art performing arts center that presents a stunning variety of entertainment and cultural experiences from Broadway productions and opera to classical and rock music.
The McCallum Theatre in Palm Desert is a wonderful venue for a wide range of the performing arts with many noted performers. While there is limited handicap seating, it is the one place I opt for because of this special seating. There is free parking in a large lot right next to this beautiful theatre and the staff and ushers are most helpful and friendly. A wide range of concerts and events are offered each year, making this the place to definitely go to for leisure pleasure and enjoyment.
