The Hive by VH Interiors is a General Store & Beverage Bar located in Altrincham. The store and bar are OPEN Tues-Fri 9am-4pm, Sat 10am-5pm & Sun 10am-4pm. We (Steven & Gareth) started out at Altrincham Market in 2015 with a regular concession at the “Outdoor Department Store”. In 2018 we opened a bricks and mortar shop called “The Hive” which is on Grosvenor Road. We have recently left Altrincham Market and rebranded our shop to a General Store and Beverage Bar. As well as a great selection of antique, mid century & vintage items which range from large furniture to smaller homewares. We also stock a great selection of carefully curated modern lines such as natural candles, eco friendly hardwares, gardeners supplies and great gifts options. The Beverage Bar serves a selection of hot espresso based coffee’s, iced coffees, milkshakes and other monthly special drinks.

A beautiful Paint a Pot & family Art cafe based in Sale, Cheshire. Only 10 minutes away from Local attractions such as the Trafford Center, Lego Land, Sea Life, Chill Factore, Manchester City center amongst many others. A gorgeous and welcoming place to spend some quality time in our calm & creative environment, painting pots, clay workshops, getting baby hand & foot imprints whilst enjoying our gorgeous Mancoco coffee & beautifully baked cakes. Minikin also provide the BEST parties in town!
Minikin hosted my daughter’s 4th party recently and it was brilliant. 14 children aged 4 and under was daunting for me (!) but Minikin made everything run extremely smoothly. From stories to painting pots to decorating biscuits to party games, we had a brilliant time and the team couldn’t have been more lovely.

Dexter & Jones Craft Beer & Artisan Gin Bottle Shop & Bar. Based in Knutsford, Cheshire we are offer over 600 different bottled beers, 150+ artisan gins and 100 fine wines individually selected from around the world. We also have 10 constantly changing keg beers on draft as well as 10 different gins served by the glass with the recommended tonic, garnish and lots of ice, the perfect serve!
By far my favourite bar, both for drinking in or takeaway, the owners and Matt have worked tirelessly throughout this tough year to serve the local community. The selection of ales are fantastic both off the shelves and on draught. A real credit to the town. If you are ever feeling a bit down pop in to Dexter and Jones and you will definitely leave with a smile.

A unique retail and leisure destination that will hopefully appeal to all the family. Featuring over 40 unique shops & businesses which includes a leading art gallery, high class butchers, craft studios, food shops, ladies & gents clothing, gifts with a difference, handbags & Jewellery, childrens clothing & toys, hair & beauty, furniture, fredericks ice cream, Ladies & gents clothing, Crafty Potter Craft Cafe, Licensed Two Birds Tea Room, a Bridal Shop and even a Hat Hire and much more. Please note there is disabled parking, disabled ramps to two of the three entrances, wide walkways, disabled toilets, and wide entrances to all ground floor shops. We unfortunately have not been permitted to install any lifts to the first floor by the Fire Services due to the fact the buildings are part wooden structures and this would raise health & safety issues re any evacuation.
Had a lovely time wandering around here today the day before lockdown 2 in England. Plenty of parking and we had a delicious lunch in the tea room followed by a meander around the independent shops within. Lots of little shops selling clothes, jewellery, toys, furniture, art and even a small food hall and butcher. Definitely worth a visit particularly if looking for a gift either to yourself or someone else.

A friendly, educational, small holding based at Applecast Ecocenter. Helping young people achieve through hands-on learning. Our visitors center, including petting zoo, animal feeding, and educational learning sessions is now open! We’ve taken measures to ensure our staff and visitors are safe to visit following the COVID Closure. It is finally safe for us to open. As a large outdoor space it’s the perfect place to get out for the day. We’ve got hand sanitiser all around site that are topped up constantly, our cafe has plenty of outdoor seating, and we’re taking measures on the farm and gift shop to keep everybody safe.
We stumbled across this place in September and it is amazing, the animals are well looked after and are "spaced out" with the social distance thing now running. The school children help on a Thursday (maybe do other days but I was there recently on a Thursday and they were there then) they enjoy what they do and it's good to see an out reach thing for people - wish I'd of had that opportunity when I was at school! As mentioned previously food is 'basic' cheese sandwich and the like and then you can have sausage sandwiches etc and YES they offer "veggie saus barm" for us vegans/veggies :) Food at the moment is "take away" so mum and myself had a picnic in the car ???? but they did say, 'if it's easier for you it's ok you can take a chair from the outside seating bit' even though they've tape over them as a ''don't use." Cycling people can get a deal of "barm and tea/coffee" for £3 and we where there quite a lot came to take up the offer! They do another nice thing if you bring dogs, taking our tray back in walks a Greyhound as they've a nice touch of "free dog sausage and water" and the lady said that she'd walked round the corner and he expects his sausages!! ???? Just watch for muddy car park! Why didn't we find here sooner!!
