Nothing like waking up early to view the rising sun and have great breath of fresh Cameron Highlands morning air on this 3.5-hour tour. Wake up early and witness the sun sneaking a peek through the clouds and casting its light directly on the mountains to mark the start of a new day. The tour then travels to the foot hills , from the barrier's of Mossy Forest , guide will give a interpretive walk of this enchanted forest. Due to new regulation by forestry deparment, Mossy Forest has now been build with wooden barricade. Finally conclude this tour by proceeding to Sungai Palas Boh Tea Plantation for a introduction on tea processing and sip on a cup of morning tea.
Inclusions: Driver/guide, Hotel pickup and drop-off in Cameron Highlands, Brief interpretive walk at Mossy Forest, Boh tea plantation and factory visit, Transport by air-conditioned minivan

This was part of an organised trip. If you can only park near the gate it is a 1.5km walk. The rangers call the orangatan after 9 so you can see them feeding at 10. We where very lucky to see one, however it is pot luck. Also if they spot one you need to move to the place quickly. It is not for the infirm or probables with walking. I would also recommend mosquito replant and long trousers with trainers. They are leeches and ticks in certain areas. It is worth the trip.

Cameron Highlands, Malaysia's premier hill resort, is located on the Main Range Peninsular Malaysia. At 1,829 metres above sea level, Cameron Highlands is the largest of all Malaysian Hill resorts and has a temperature ranging from 16 degrees celcius to 24 degrees celcius. Much of its appeal lies in the neat sprawling tea plantations that date back to 1929, as well as the terraced flower farms, strawberry farms and vegetable garden. Cameron Highlands consists of series of little towns that include Ringlet, Tanah Rata, Brinchang, Tringkap, Kuala Terla and Kampung Raja. The total population is approximately 30,000 the majority of whom are employed in agriculture and the leisure industry. The best tourist amenities can be found around Tanah Rata, the administrative center of the highlands, but Brinchang is fast catching up with a number of hotels, service apartments and restaurants.

Our exciting half day program takes guests from the City Hall to Kuala Lumpur’s downtown area and the iconic Sultan Abdul Samad Building and Petaling Street, where they enjoy a traditional Hainanese coffee before commencing on a fascinating ‘voyage of discovery’ by cycling. The path leads through a labyrinth of hidden alleyways that connects the new and the old of Kuala Lumpur. This is ‘secret’ Kuala Lumpur, far from public view where a dark single file passage opens to secret morning junk market only ‘locals go to and unique historical gems. Discover hidden chinese green tiles and ancient shophouse ladders, delight at the fascinating old shop-houses and enjoy a refreshing drink at a ‘locals only’ store. Photo opportunities abound as a guide shares not only the history, but daily rituals and regimes that will intrigue and amaze. Getting lost and found again in these hidden alleyways is a truly rewarding and special experience.

Exclusions: Hotel drop-off, Hotel pickup
Exhilarating and adrenaline pumping riding on the KL roads.???? Highly recommended taking a bike ride with Elena- who takes you on a guided bike tour around different areas of the city centre with historical information at her fingertips. Stopped at a quaint wantan mee place at Jalan Tiong Nam within the marketplace. Elena is very friendly and easy to get along with. I hope to go on more bike rides around the city centre after this experience :) Nothing ventured, nothing gained.xxx

the elephant santuary is a bit far out of KL, but if you can go there it is worth with, it is not a zoo but a real place where they rescue elephants, so your fee is actually going to do some good . batu cave is nice , close to town, well worth it, and not expensive, which is good cause a lot of places in KL are ripping off tourists
