Dropped in on this little gem hoping to be able to spend some time painting pottery. We had a lovely friendly welcome and although it was quite full and we hadn’t booked they were able to accommodate us. I had my little boy with us who is not yet ready for a high chair but this wasn’t a problem at all! After ‘parking’ the pram downstairs we settled in upstairs and there was a lovely baby swing which we were able to use. A lovely touch and allowed me to have my hands free and for him to enjoy a swing! We had a fab time relaxing whilst painting our chosen pottery and enjoying a cuppa. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this lovely place for a great time with family and friends and especially children. They are so accommodating and go out of their way to help you. However I would suggest booking if you want a specific time or at busy periods.

Fun informal wine and gin tasting events here in Shropshire. We offer a range of events from introductory courses to more in-depth tastings, food and wine matching and professional (WSET) training. All events focus on enjoying wine in a relaxed and informal setting. No previous wine experience is necessary
Received as a Christmas gift I didn’t know what to expect. Gary was welcoming and made everyone feel at ease. Going into enough details about the various wines he had chosen and matching them with complementing charcuterie (seems so obvious that charcuterie from the same region/country goes best with the wine) we tasted 6 wines learning about the nuances of the regions, grapes and what makes a good year. A great introduction to the Shropshire Wine School and will definitely attend events in the future and recommend them to friends.

Created over 130 acres our Premier Course set in beautiful Georgian Parkland, Henlle Park is a true test for every level of golfer. The mature oak trees provide protection to approach shots with natural lakes and pools making tee shots challenging too. The yardage on red tees (Par 72) is 5347 yards, yellow tees (Par 70) is 5854 yards and white tees (Par 70) is 6161 yards.
Henlle Park is an excellent golf course, a little hilly when compared to the other two town courses, but a true test for golfers of all abilities. We did not play it this year but fully intend to be back next.

We had a fantastic morning with Mike, he was so friendly and immediately made us feel welcome and at ease. After coffee, cake and a brief lesson on throwing, we were given free reign to practice and experiment on the wheel, with Mike stepping in whenever we wanted. The experience was fun and relaxed and we created some things we were really proud of. This is a perfect rainy day activity, especially if the kilns have been on before you get there as the whole building is warm and cosy. Plus we couldn't resist buying some of Mike's own creations on the way out! One small tip - things can get pretty messy so wear clothes that you don't mind getting a bit of clay on!
