I booked a tour with these folks over the Christmas and New Year's holiday. As an avid photographer, my goal was to capture some of the more out of the way places in Venice, and to do it at night. Mark & Carla were wonderful guides, walking me around the city exploring dark corners, telling stories, and negotiating with locals to let us into areas that we generally wouldn't be able to see or even know about. They also provided, at the end of our walk, a map of the areas we explored, as well as information about other places and sights that I might be interested in exploring on my own. All in all, a great experience. These people take the time to do it right. Never felt rushed or intimidated or bound to a schedule or path.

Fantastic we’re all booked for Venice a lovely surprise by my fiancé, it’s been a nightmare in lockdown over the COVID-19 the last 5 months, We both were truly looking forward to our 1st time on a Private Gondola for 2! Once arrived at our hotel we realised we could have got this ride a lot cheaper. Let me start by saying we were 10 mins early, we waited until our 4pm slot, the tour guide man was friendly but seemed to be a little confused and seemed to be looking for some thing before we started , this took up our time by 5 mins, NOT a GREAT-START Guys! Once on board of the Gondola, the trip started late , we headed out on the Grand Canal for not very long and then was taken down some back street canal & returned back to base! Not worth the money or time with these rip off people & What 30 mins, it was more like 17mins for 120 Euros! We spent 30 mins getting to this place when we should have booked the Private Gondola our side of our friendly hotel!! Avoid This company ALL together, once I complained he said he had given as 30 mins really!!! Never ever again!! Your better of with your hotel’s recommendations or a better trip advisor Gondola company!! Your company & the people that work for you, should be ashamed of your selfishness towards good people in hard times like these!! Avoid AT ALL Costs People !!!

Ele was just fantastic. She met us at Piazza Navona and took us through some wonderful highlights of Rome. We really enjoyed her descriptions of the sites, the Caravaggios we saw in one of the churches and the coffee we got. She also gave us some great tips on where to shop for gifts and places to eat while we visited Rome. She was fun to talk to and listen to and we're so glad we had a chance to enjoy a personal tour of some of the city's highlights. Thank you Ele! Our original travel date was November 2018 but we loved her so much we wanted to talk about it again.

My wife and I booked this home cooking class on Viator for the same evening, after the website showed availability. The operator, Curioseety, emailed to say that they could not do the class due to lack of preparation time and asked us to reschedule. We offered the next day, our last day in Verona, as we like most tourists are not spending that much time in the city. Curioseety answered that this would not work either. We ended up cancelling the class, but lost our $150 payment because Viator mandates that one must cancel 24 hours before the experience for any refund. So don't book this class online last minute, even if the website says they have availability.

I have been to Venice before but wanted to show my wife the most of Venice in 3 days before we departed for our cruise. We had a limited time visiting Venice and decided on this tour rather than exploring on our own for the sake of time. This was a wonderful tour and highlighted the best of Venice. We really enjoyed the narration of the city and it's history. The boat ride was probably the highlight of the tour. It showed us many areas that tourist don't usually go to and we saw absolutely beautiful cathedrals and private homes. This tour was a no brainier and would recommended it to everyone.

With less travellers and Venice unusually quiet, even late in the season, this tour was an absolute delight. Our guide, Valentina, was engaging with her stories of Venice and it's history. The markets were interesting and, not being rammed, you could take the experience in on a leisurely stroll. The various food and wine stops were superb. from the simple hole in the wall wineries to sitting outside in the sunshine for a leisurely lunch, followed by Ice cream. Whilst none of the food portions were a 'man V food' wad, there is plenty of 'little and often' which mounts up. The food itself is very good. Valentina paired the wines with the food and her choices were spot on. As a very late booking this fell just right and is an excellent way to spend lunchtime. You may well skip dinner after this trip too.

I took it in Sep 2019. What I thought would be a serene end to my very exciting and fun-filled day turned out to be a very disappointing and super noisy experience. First of all, they run it in fleets and music plays only on one gondola. My fleet had 5 gondolas and orchestra was playing only in the middle one. Mine was the first in the line. I still tried to enjoy it and hear what was being played on that one lucky gondola but NOPE. Even that became impossible because our gondolier thought it to be the best time to chat with his friends on other gondolas at the peak of his voice. He was very inconsiderate and was chatting with his friends (shouting) during the whole ride. I was a solo traveller and there were couple of other families on my gondola. When we couldn't take it anymore and almost towards the end of the ride, I and one other person asked him very politely to turn it down a bit as we wanted to hear the music that was being played on 2 gondolas behind, he behaved very rudely and insolently, imitating us to his friends, making sh sh...sounds. WOW! So, in nutshell: What I expected: Scenic gondola ride with peaceful music playing on my gondola What I got: Music playing on a gondola that was 2 gondolas away, super noisy and insolent gondlier. Some serenade it was!
