Playa del Carmen is one of the top diving destinations in the world, thanks to vibrant sea life and dazzling underwater caverns. On dry land, Playa is a hipper and more modern version of the fishing village it once was. Spend some quality time on the golf course or wave hello to the playful spider monkeys at The Jungle Place sanctuary. Explore the ancient ruins of the Coba Mayan Village, or get in some quality people-watching as you shop and stroll along 5th Avenue.

Combine Mayan history at Tulum Mexico, the only archeological zone in the area overlooking the ocean (believed to have been the largest port for the Mayans) with the natural beauty of Xel-ha Mexico, a natural aquarium which is ideal for snorkeling Itinerary: Go directly from your hotel to Tulum ruins and then to Xel-ha Mexico. Pick up time is up to you, but we have found that 7AM – 8 AM works well In Tulum you can hire a guide for a tour or just explore the ruins on your own. 2 hours in Tulum is plenty of time. Tulum is open from 8AM – 5PM Then go to Xel-Ha where you can swim/snorkel, float down the lazy river, walk through the jungle, eat, drink or relax in a hammock. Xel-Ha is open 365 days a year from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
Inclusions: Beverages at Xel-ha, Breakfast at Xel-ha, Buffet lunch at Xel-ha, Breakfast, Lunch
Exclusions: Gratuities, Hotel pickup and drop-off, Transportation to/from attractions
We just spent 7 nights here at this resort. We've been to a few other resorts and none have compared. The staff here is by far the best and the food is absolutely the best. It's a step above all the others.

My son arranged this day trip for us because I REALLY wanted to see some Mayan ruins and cenotes. It was glorious. We traveled as a group of 10, 4 of my married children + spouses, and my husband and I. Jesus was a terrific guide and willing to adjust and cater the day to whatever we wanted to do. He is very knowledgeable about the area and had suggestions for what we might want to see. We visited the ruins, two different cenotes (we swam at each one, Jesus provided snorkels), had time to shop in town for a bit, and enjoyed a delicious lunch...a place with a camel painted on the wall and wonderful fish tacos. If we felt "snacky" Jesus had a cooler full of drinks and snacks, including fruit and yogurt. The van was comfortable and there was plenty of room for all 10 of us. Jesus was a fabulous host and I would highly recommend him and his expertise!

You will have a blast of flavors in seven different stops; I will show you a great variety of the best Local snacks around the peninsula, such as Marquesitas, Panuchos, Tamales and many type of tacos. Just two blocks away from the 5th avenue; We will visit the small vendors on the street, that you normally would avoid for the single reason that you maybe don't even know about how to ask for it, or if the food its good or not. However this are the perfect places to give you an authentic point of view of the Mexican cuisine. Listen a great explanation about the Mayan civilization while we walk around the place, With this you will get a delicious true Mexican experience. The last stop its at the same place of the meeting point, so we finish exactly where we start it. The Food its NOT SPICY! , and we have many vegetarian options if you required.
Inclusions: DURING ALL THE EXPERIENCE, SOFT DRINKS DURING ALL THE EXPERIENCE
Exclusions:
———— It would be a great value for 25$/person! Guide was nice. Badly planned: half of restaurants we were suppose to go we’re close. We visited 2 restaurants and eate from 2 stands, that’s it!! We ate 3 mini tacos, 1 glass of juice, 1 churos, MarquesItas, NO BEER AT ALL! Doesn’t worth it at all

I cannot say enough good things about Jesus and the tour he provides. Came down to Bacalar during covid and post tropical storm, things were closed and nature had an attitude but Jose made it work. Our tour had to be altered a bit, but before any changes were made Jesus ran it by us first to make sure we were ok with it. Really appreciated that. His level of communicating and making you the boss of your tour is incredible. Covered so much of Bacalar in this one expedition. Bacalar is a beautiful place and Jesus made sure we were able to experience it. 10 out of 10, would book again and recommend to friends.

Inclusions: Air-conditioned vehicle, Entrance Ticket to the Ruins of Tulum and Cobá, Buffet food, Entrance to a Cenote and time to swim, Free time in Playa del Carmen (45 minutes)
Exclusions: Drinks during the meal and during transport, Train to the entrance of Tulum, Bicycles to the entrance of Cobá, Life Jacket in the Cenote
The positives - the tour guide was very educated and informative. The Chichen Itza ruins are definitely worth seeing at least once if given the opportunity. The negatives - there was a bit of pressure to purchase the Mayan calendar and other goods from the tour guide. The buffet food was surprisingly bland considering it was made by the native Mayan people. Also the tour was super long. I was picked up from my hotel in Playa del Carmen at 7am and didn’t get back until 9pm.
