While it is impossible to see all of Rome in one day, our excursion through Trip Advisor came close. Our guide Paolo was excellent. He took us to places that we had no idea were there. Having the skip the line tickets was well-worth the investment! Highly recommend!!

We checked in the day before tour at phone number given: no answer so left a message. No response. Called back twice: no response. Third time got someone who did not speak English except to say « guide sick » and hung up. had hotel call back and concierge spoke with Domenico who said tour cancelled and hung up. Hotel called back and made him promise a refund (got notification a few hours later). Extremely unprofessional: no answer no notifications and had to push for a refund

An experience in the territories of Albanian language and culture in Sicily In the province of Palermo there are 5 towns of Albanian origin and culture that boast a large community of more than 50,000 people. The word Arbëreshë defines the Albanian ethno-linguistic minority historically settled in southern and insular Italy. Coming from Albania and the many Albanian communities of Morea and Ciamuria, the communities settled in Italy between the fifteenth and the eighteenth centuries, after the death of the Albanian national hero Giorgio Castriota Scanderbeg. Also, the progressive conquest of Albania and of all the territories of the Byzantine Empire by the Turks-Ottomans, lead them to emigrate. Their culture is determined by characteristic elements, which are found in language, religion, customs, traditions, iconographic art, gastronomy, jealously preserved, because of the awareness of belonging to a specific ethnic group.

I had a rough time finding a good place to find quality road bikes but once I found sicicla it was really smooth. The bikes are rented at a fair price (20/30€ a day for bikes worth 1000-2000€) with all the equipment needed (lock, helmet). They have an impressive collection of bikes which is waiting for a post Covid summer. The owner is a really nice guy who provided me with a great tour (Monreale and the coast) with breathtaking views. I also went to Cefalu that I can’t recommend more. The coastal roads of Sicily are a great fit for road bikes!

Discover the historical and landscape beauties of Palermo, cycling on its enchanting shores with a tour that has as protagonists the History and the Sea. We will cross the Borgo dell'Arenella, a fishing village that was born in the 19th century around the Tonnara Florio and that, today, houses the two marinas of Arenella and Acquasanta. During our tour, we will see the Grand Hotel Villa Igiea, built by the Florios, one of the Italian families of industrial tradition and absolute protagonist in Palermo during the Belle Époque Period. The tour continues in the direction of Mondello, with its characteristic seaside village and its enchanting beach. We will resume our ride through the Real Park of the Favorita, a park of about 400 hectares, created in 1799, which at the time was mainly his private hunting reserve, and the Palazzina Cinese, the ancient royal residence of the Borbons. We finally come back to Palermo city centre, where our bike excursion will end.

From pick up to drop off, our family thoroughly enjoyed our tour with our escort, Eduardo. Though we are quite familiar with the Godfather movies, we really chose the tour to be able to see a few more towns from our base in Taormina. And what lovely towns we got to see!! Forza d'Agro was quiet and beautiful. And Savoca was picture perfect. Most of all, we enjoyed our time learning about these places with Eduardo, who was warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and fun to be with. He did a very good job of customizing the trip to our interest, and kept us engaged. Highly recommend this tour to everyone visiting the area, not just Godfather fans!
