The present church, the Basilica of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, was constructed and furnished in the third quarter of the XVIII century. The building is one of the finest examples of late Baroque architecture in Lithuania. The interior, designed by the gifted Lithuanian artist, Thomas Podgaiskis, has been preserved without significant changes for over two centuries.

is a small town on the scenic plateaus of eastern Samogitia that is famous for the monuments to baroque culture it contains. Tytuvenai’s Church of Our Lady of the Angels and Bernardine monastery complex are among Lithuania’s largest and most significant specimens of 17th and 18th century sacred architecture, reflecting as they do a multi-layered harmony of the gothic, mannerist and baroque styles.

This is the major Russian Orthodox church in Lithuania and is affiliated with two Orthodox monasteries: The Monastery of the Holy Spirit and the Convent of Saint Mary Magdalen -- the only remaining Orthodox monasteries in Lithuania. Inside the unassuming Baroque-style entrance is a beautiful green and blue chancellery and sanctuary. The surprise when you open the door will take your breath away.

St Anne's Church is a 15th century, Gothic red brick (numerous colors and style of red brick) church that is quite small and sits in front of the much bigger Bernadine Church in similar red brick. This is a must see in Vilnius.

One of the most beautiful church (cathedral) in our country. So much space, so white, clear and simple. This cathedral have to interesting elements: the clock of sun and defensive wall.
